McDonald's in Louisville

“McDonald’s is always a great place for a quick and tasty meal. The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and fast with the service. Perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Highly recommend this location!“

“Every time I've gone here my order has been correct. Most of the time the staff is super friendly and you never have to wait more than a minute or two for your food. The only negative would be their prices have really gone up but I guess that's just a sign of the times.“

“The people working inside are very nice and helpful albeit very busy. I grew up in this area and know that being super nice with them goes a long way. They might act like they didn't hear you and they might not have they wear headsets.“

“Every time i go to this mcdonalds everyone is always so nice :) even when they seem very busy and/or understaffed the crew is always very kind. the food is usually very good and they are quick to fix any mistakes. love the vibe you guys have! keep it up.“

“Monopoly is back travelers. I went here to do a little gambling and bought a big Mac meal. Man I didn't even get a ticket on the big Mac. An employee possibly stole it or there was a manufacturing glitch and it was never adhered. It is unknown. I did not go back in to complain. This Don did not allow in store dining. I think McDonald's in general doesn't like people who want to eat in. They are all nasty inside these days. Unclean tables, no one taking orders. Picture from a different Don but this one wasn't much different.“

“Got a mccrispy chicken 🐔 sandwich 🥪 with no lettuce and tomato only pickle.
That was supposed to be on.The sandwich also received a mcflurry.Chloe, that was supposed to be the summores and got A.
Oreo mcflurry instead“

“What can I say? It's just another McDonald's.
But the staff that work there? Those kids are a vibe. I'd bottle that vibe and carry it around in my pocket if I could. Take it out and spinkle it on every dull or difficult interaction.“

“Love McDonald's. My food is always cooked just like I ask and it's always hot. Plus it helps with McDonald's app too. Got tons of free items and continue to build up my points. Between the points and deals, it's come in clutch for my family on days where we didn't have much money.“

“I have been meaning, do this. for a long time. Now got the chance of getting perfect service and quality you can be awarded.I just have to say that every time I go to this McDonald's, they always have the word occurrent, always polite always fast-paced and compared to some of the other McDonald's that I live by this McDonald's does an exceptional phenomenal job, and they should get some kind of reward or rave, or something.“

“Order perfect, no corrections needed. All food fresh and hot. Employees were polite, professional, friendly, fast, and accurate. They even automatically switched my drinks over to a bagged drink carrier when they realized I had two large drink orders. Didn’t even have to ask. The way this location is set up isn’t very inviting (no condiment/napkin counter, small inside eating area, even a sign up asking patrons to limit their stay to 1 hour or less), but honestly, with such great service, I would still choose this location over others.“

“Little dissappointed, why arent we offered ketchup or condiments anymore? If youre like me, using the drive thru, obviously in a hurry. You dont remember to ask for these things. And? Maybe its just me. But the double cheeseburger? Tastes funny? Not bad, not char grilled, just, different. And? When I order and pay for Super Size?? Why, why, why? Are the french fry "cups" ALWAYS 1/2 to 3/4 full, at best??? This has been the case, over and over and over the last year?? Ive worked there. Ive made up the fries. I know the scoop, if filled or scoop up fries, is done right? Each container is filled as ordered. I love Micky D's fries. Why why so cheap filling our fry holder? What do they consider SUPER SIZE? Why even use that size container? They dont fill it, a Large fry holder rather than Super Size would do. But then I guess they couldnt legally charge you for a Super Size. Stop Super Size Lying!!! Just saying. ( have pics need to find, will add)“

“This is my wife's favorite restaurant (McDonald's) not so much this location but it is closest to where we live. They seem to always get our orders wrong but they do fix them. Just would be nice to not have to return to get it fixed. The staff is usually very obnoxious and inappropriate for my liking. Like I said it's her favorite so we will continue to be patrons.“

“FRANCISCO!!! Has the best customer service ive encounter at any fast food place. Everytime I come here and he here I swear makes me feel special lol He deserves all the praising he can get. Will always comes to this location ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“Honestly the best customer service I’ve had at a McDonalds in years. The cashier was very nice and accommodating, our food was brought to us in a timely manner, and my burger was well dressed. The only negative was that the play place was pretty chilly, but everything seemed clean and well kept.“

“We wanted to feed some of the street homeless in Louisville on Thursday afternoon. We had a large order and the manager was extremely helpful and nice even though it was extremely busy during that time of day. She helped us get the largest amount of food for our money. The food was ready in no time. Fresh and hot! Not only was the manager nice, so was her staff!!

Thank you for your awesome kindness and friendly service!!“

“A kind sir by the name of Louis took my order this morning and I just have to post about it! He was so nice and gentle with me and even helped me out to my car after my delicious meal. All of my food was fresh and made with love. Will be coming back!“

“I've been coming here for years and most of the staff are ok they could be friendlier and remember if they don't like working there go somewhere else. The food is hit or miss as well it's McDonald's that's all I can say!“

“Def better mcDs to go to that actually take pride in their work!!!! Here there employees act like their customers are jus an aggravation & get on their nerves!!ATTITUDES SUCK TREMENDOUSLY AND DEFINITELY PLAYED AN IMPORTANT ROLE ON MY BUSINESS THERE I'LL NEVER GO BACK!!! GOOD WAS COLD, FRAPPE WAS RUNNY LIKE DIARRHEA AND WHEN I ADDRESSED THE ISSUE THE TWO TOO YOUNG TOO GAF ABOUT CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION LOOKED AT ME LIKE I HAD AN EYE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FOREHEAD AND NEVER ONCE OFFERED TO REPLACE THE COLD FISH SANDWICHES NOR THE DIARRHEA LIKE FRAPPES!!! I SPENT 42.00 ALMOST 43.00 & ID BEEN BETTER OFF TO DIG SOME SHIT OUTTA THE DUMPSTERS!!! MOST DEF NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT AND DEF NEW EMPLOYEES!!!! ILL NEVER RETURN TO THAT DISRESPECTFUL MCDONALD'S EVER AGAIN!!! ANDC TAKE MY ADVICE GO ELSEWHERE UNTIL THIS PLACE GETS AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT!!!!! REAL TALK“

“Young lady working the drive thru, one that takes your order and payment, super super sweet. Got to pay windows, was good ways from windows. She never said a word but stood reached out to get money reached out with chsnge, receipt and smiled. Didn't catch her name but she was on drive thru between 7pm-8pm at tsylorsville rd mcdonalds“

“I was picking up for Doordash. There was 1 lady doing it all. Taking and bagging her own orders!! Even though the drive-thru was backed up, she kept it moving; Service with a smile 😃 I let her know that she was doing a magnificent job, keep it up!!“

“The miracle is my fries were actually hot. There's not much else to tell. Utilized Curbside Service. You have to download their app, pull into a spot, and checkout using a card in your Google wallet. The food is brought out to you. You don't have to stand in long lines. It does take a bit but it's not an unreasonable amount of time. Since I discovered I can use it with my mobility scooter I have been using it instead of trying to fit through the narrow doors. The staff is always friendly. So far I haven't gotten any attitude or heavy annoyed sighs. I know that today was a fluke but I'm happy all the same.“

“Stopped by the McDonald’s on Bardstown Road recently to grab some breakfast after an early morning walk through the neighborhood. Navigating this location can certainly be unique given the bustling nightlife, surrounding bar scene, and local foot traffic, making it a challenging spot to operate and manage. But people like Kathy are what make it special.
Even though the lobby signage regarding hours was a bit conflicting (one sign says 24 hours while an updated sign nearby notes modified hours), the front door was open and I was welcomed right in. It was Kathy’s very first day on the job, and she truly was a bright spot in my morning! She was sweet, calm, cool, and collected, making sure my order was taken care of seamlessly. We even shared a meaningful conversation about a mutual friend from local Bingo (RIP BEAUTIFUL HOPE)
and expressed our condolences over a shared loss.
Kathy’s genuine kindness, bright smile, and compassion stand out. She expressed so much excitement about joining the team and starting this new journey. In a location that faces its fair share of challenges, employees like her make all the difference. Huge shout-out to Kathy—she’s going to do amazing things here and in her career!“

“OH MY GOSH.

I’m in town for Louder than Life. Found my way here through all the traffic reroutes.

These are the most beautiful mcDonald’s nuggets I’ve ever seen…

Plus, the sauce is a lot cheaper than Indy. 🤣🤣. Thanks. Y’all!!!!“

“I had such a wonderful experience at this McDonald’s yesterday. The staff showed incredible kindness and went above and beyond to help in a tough situation. Their compassion and willingness to help truly meant the world to me and my family. It’s rare to see that kind of genuine care, and it left such a positive impact. Thank you to the amazing team working that day—you made a hard moment so much brighter!“

“This McDonald's is always fast and accurate. That means a lot when you are in a hurry. I stop here weekly to get my grandkids food after work on the day I pick them up. The food is always hot and fresh and the people who work there are always nice and polite. I like this McDonald's over any other I have ever been to.“

“I don't normally review McDonald's because well it's McDonald's which usually means a bunch of people that don't want to be there mindlessly doing their jobs.

This location rivals chick fil a in speed and nice employees though. I'll drive out of my way to go to this location.“

“They were super busy the other day, but with my mobile order, I was in and out quickly. Water machine was down, so no coffee or hi-c or ice. My fries seemed a little undercooked and soggy, but they were edible. If not for those 2 things, I would’ve given five stars.“

“I just drove through this McDonald’s to get a tea and I was so impressed with the young people who served me. The young lady who took my order and money was smiling and so friendly, as was the young man who gave me my drink! Thank you!
The tea was fresh!“

“Today we stopped by this McDonald's and we got waited on by the nicest person I've ever personally ran into a McDonald's her name is Stephanie she was pleasant and helpful would definitely come back just to see her smiling face. Thank you Stephanie from the Bruners.“

“It was May 4, 2026. I had went to the McDonald’s at 2:00am I just wanted to let y’all know y’all‘s manager is very professional and is a great asset to your company. I did not catch her name, but she was a beautiful light skinned woman just so you can know who I’m talking about. I had a problem with my order and she made sure everything came out perfect and was corrected to my liking ! It’s hard to find a person with great service, but you found one !“

“Never had a bad experience with food or service. The only issue I have is with the app malfunctioning at times. Love the $5 special. Please keep it around to help out with the current inflated prices. Thanks McDonalds for making a great meal affordable ?.“

“Ordered thru the app for dine in..everything was hot and made to order..the dining room was clean night shift crew was polite and my child had a pleasant experience and said McDonald's for the first time ..we will be returning to this location for now on.“

“On my way to work, and I was hungry,so I hit the mickey D's drive through, the voice on the loud speaker sounded like I was a bother, and very monotoned.i ordered ,got my food ,frys tasted so bland, and my mc double was the same way,am I the only 1 that feels like mc Donald's just doesn't put the effort that they used to? Am I getting older and just loosing the taste for mc donalds,I don't know, but if my little girl wants mc Donald's you can bet your sweet patoot I'm getting that girlmc donalds“

“The food was hot and was prepared as ordered. The drive thru line was crowded, it moved pretty quick.

Vegetarian options: French fries.

Dietary restrictions: Can order food without salt.

Parking: Plenty of parking, as well as handicapped.

Kid-friendliness: Has an indoor play center for kids

Wheelchair accessibility: Can get in/out building with wheelchair. Does not have power doors.“

“Staff was super nice and even made me feel my service dog was welcomed and not a nuisance like other businesses have done.
Food was hot, drinks cold.
Front counter lady named Katerina was such a doll. Very pleasant and knowledgeable and offered to help with my things when she saw me struggling trying to juggle my things, dog, and try to get a drink while another customer was complaining about my service animal because she hated dogs. God bless her.. thank you Katerina! You’re an allstar!“

“This McDonald’s has earned my loyalty forever even though there is another one the same distance away on Preston. The staff is always friendly. This place gets very busy sometimes and they understandably get backed up. But they don’t let that affect their attitudes. If there is an issue with your order and you let them know, then they will sincerely apologize and they go above and beyond to fix it. Shoutout to the shift managers and all of the staff.“

“Not a bad place to stop when you need something on the road yeah this is where I get my breakfast in hillview and I get usually their sausage egg McMuffins but I don't get the McMuffin or the cheese I just get the sausage and the egg part of my diet“

“I stopped by my local McDonald's to grab 4 sundaes. The team didn't know I was going through a lot, my grandmother just got out of the hospital after suffering a stroke. Her favorite thing is ice cream. The sweet treats and your kindness meant so much.“

“Driving from Lousville, KY back home to Atlanta so stop by this McDonald for a quick snack and short restroom break.

Restroom is clean and food was good - we ordered from the Kiosk. Probably due to the drive-through orders, it did take a little longer than expected to get our food even though we did not see too many customers inside the restaurant. So it's understandable.

Overall, it's a good experience between the food and cleanliness of the restroom. Good job!“

“Came to town for Run For The Roses basketball tournament. Arrived pretty late and most places were already closed. Stopped at Mickey D's to get the kids Happy Meals. They were happy with their food, but what kid wouldn't be? Service was quick.“

“Went to this McDonald’s after leaving church ordered a double quarter pounder meal two happy meals and two chicken sandwiches however on the double quarter pounder meal I want everything that comes on the big Mac instead of what comes on the double quarter pounder I get home and find the only is it not a double quarter pounder it’s just a regular big Mac with everything under the table on it. I tried to call back but no one answered so I drove back to the location and spoke with a manager by the name of JAY and when I tell you, she went above and beyond without having any type of attitude and get it all with a smile and make sure that my burger was correct so I highly recommend this location and shout out to JAY for being such a phenomenal manager.“

“Went at 9:30pm expecting a semi warm, semi edible meal just to tie us over on our drive home. The drive thru cashier was nicer than any McDonald's employee I've ever come into contact with. She even told me what would make my meal cheaper! We got our food and EVERY SINGLE BIT of it had just come out of the fryer. Not to mention she gave ketchup and extra napkins without us asking! I wish we lived closer so we could always get this kind of service!“

“Have been to this location several times the last few months using the app to preorder and pick up. The orders have been delivered to our car within 3 minutes of arriving, the food has been fresh and hot and the employees have been friendly and courteous. The outside area has been neat and no visible garbage in the pickup area. Very pleasant experiences each time.“

“Wow, I was really impressed at the service, attitude and food this morning. Absolutely perfect! Frederica went all the extra miles with a smile on to help me put in the order. It came out perfectly all around.

You could tell there was a lot of management around today, trying to really dig in and do things right. It can take a lot of work to turn things around or get to right - they are doing it. I’m impressed! Keep up the awesome work.“
