Le Moo Reviews
My wife and I brought our two daughters to Le Moo tonight to celebrate our youngest turning two tomorrow. We didn’t reserve a birthday table or expect anything special, but as we were leaving I politely asked the hostess if it would be possible to get two balloons for our kids.
The hostess kindly grabbed two balloons and was about to hand them to me when her manager stopped her and told her she was not allowed to give them to my children. The hostess was clearly embarrassed...read full review
We frequented Le Moo for many celebrations, be it an anniversary, birthday, or some other special achievement. However the last time we went, several years ago, our service was terrible. The server brought our bottle of wine half way through our dinner. That is inexcusable at a place like this.
I’d give it 3/5 stars.
Highly recommend! Food was incredible! Service was just as impressive! What a way to wrap up a great visit to Kentucky with some friends!!! Thank you!!!

Le Moo is a well-known restaurant that has consistently impressed diners with its excellent service, delightful ambiance, and mouthwatering cuisine. The establishment has received high praise for its prime filet, which is described as perfectly prepared and incredibly tender. The steaks are juicy, tender, and full of flavor, and the steaks are to die for, always fresh, cooked exactly as ordered, and taste like a world-class steak. The seafood is also amazing, fresh and perfectly prepared, thanks to Louisville's excellent shipping company that can deliver fresh catches in less than a day. The Caesar salad was very good, and the sides like the mashed potatoes and asparagus were delicious too. The Blue Ribbon-winning Chocolate Expresso Cake was a highlight, and the French Press coffee added a special touch. The staff made guests feel right at home with impeccable service and attention to detail, making any celebration very special. The atmosphere is a big part of the experience, and the food, service, and prices are all great. Overall, Le Moo is a must-visit in Louisville, offering a memorable dining experience with top-quality meals and friendly staff. Recent reviews mention a great atmosphere and good food, though some guests found the prime ribeye a little grainy. Guests also appreciated the friendly service, especially from a server named Ed, who makes guests feel very welcome. Many consider it the best steakhouse experience, especially compared to other areas, and look forward to returning with friends and family.
