“On Bardstown rd. The picture does not do justice on how much food you get. Spiced but not too spicy and the chicken tasted great. Couple notes: drinks are water, mango and Bassel?( I know I spelled that wrong) and 2. Little bit of a lauguage barrier. Friendly and food arrived in just a few minutes. Will be going again.“

“I visited Mashallah African Restaurant for dinner and had a warm and satisfying dining experience. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere with a simple, family-oriented setting that allowed the food to be the main focus. It felt like a great place to enjoy authentic home-style African cuisine.
We ordered grilled chicken, jollof rice, beef stew, fried plantains, and fresh juice. The food arrived hot and full of rich aromas. The rice was flavorful, the meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the plantains added a perfect touch of sweetness to the meal. The portions were generous and ideal for sharing.
The staff were friendly and hospitable, making sure everything was served promptly and checking in to ensure we enjoyed our meal. The service felt genuine and welcoming throughout the visit.
Overall, Mashallah African Restaurant is an excellent dinner destination if you're looking for authentic African flavors, generous portions, and a comfortable casual dining atmosphere.“

“Wonder staff, fantastic food!“
“Halal grocery/restaurant. If the guys already there at a table didn’t yell back to the kitchen that a customer wanted to order, I might never have been treated to one of the finer meals I’ve had in a while. I ordered chapati with chicken meat. Two wonderful, thick chewy chapati, with basically like a chicken fajita plate, a bowl of greens, beans, corn, and carrots, and a lettuce, tomato, green bell pepper, lime salad plate, served with an unpeeled banana, and bottle of water. Couple hot sauce options. I was thinking it was a lot of food for the $12 on the menu. Indeed, the meal ended up being $16. We had some miscommunication, but he was patient and friendly enough; no big deal. Will return!“

“Hey friends, I was craving African food today. I hit KK up and she got me right. This is my second visit to K.K. African Cuisine. I highly recommend this business. Every order gets better and better. If you want to try authentic West African food you should try hers. She is also close by in the Locust grove area (home based). I can tell it was made with lots of love. Call to place an order before visiting❤️🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾 #kkafricancuisine“

“I was visiting Louisville this week, and stumbled up this hidden on the outskirts of the city. This was one of the most incredible dishes I have ever had. I got the goat with saffron rice and it was gas money. The owners were incredible and really nice. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in a little East African field trip. Alhamdulillah“
