01/15/25: I work down the street and a co-worker and I went and ordered takeout. fast, friendly, fair and & DELICIOUS!!! The attendant hand you a ball and points you towards the bar and you can add whatever you want to your bowl and then they cook it up in front of you with your choice of brown rice white rice fried rice or noodle! The prices is based on the weight. $7.99 per pound. for the two of us, we spent $22. y'all don't sleep on this place!
It's about time we got a good Mongolian restaurant back in Louisville! The build your own bowl is perfect, you get to pick your veggies, your protein, your seasoning, your sauce, literally every bowl is cooked to order per your own creation. The quality of the ingredients is quite high, the variety of offerings is expansive, and the creations are near limitless. The hubby and I have found our new date night spot!!
This was fantastic. So happy they have a mongolian in this town now. Was so surprised when we moved here we didn't have one.
Only complaint I have was the automatic tip of 18% for 5 or more. They don't warn you or tell you about it. We found out on the bill. Then saw a small hand written sign on the wall by the register. You should have the option to tip or not. And by how much. This won't keep me from coming back, will just split up the party next time and tip appropriately.

The service at Yummy Bowl is fantastic and the food is delicious. Customers appreciate the varied offerings and the ability to choose from a huge build‑your‑bowl bar. The bar is LARGE and has a large selection of meats, vegetables, eggs, spices and sauces. Little cups let people sample the sauces before adding them. The meat and veggies appear fresh, with no browning or off smells, and the food is cooked to perfection. Vegetables are not mush and meat is not raw or overcooked. The bowls are prepared and brought to the table in about 5‑10 minutes. Seating is roomy with big booths and plenty of seating galore. The music is just right and the space looks clean. The vibe is pretty good for a date, family meal, lunch or dinner with friends. Pricing is reasonable and the portions are HUGE, well worth the price. Gluten‑free options are available and soft drinks, wine and beer are also on the menu. The location in a strip mall off Hurstbourne Rd opposite Carmax provides plentiful parking. People often come back and say they will definitely be back. The experience is great and the to‑go bowls are super sturdy for carry orders. Yummy Bowl offers sushi that is unbelievably good and now has a liquor license. They are already planning to add fried rice on the side for good. The vibe is a tad bit loud when many people are there.
