“My mom and I had lunch inside today. Everything was great. We left and shopped then came back thru the drive thru and ordered the flavor of the day concrete mixers. We waited and waited they finally came out and said they were out of that flavor. My mom ordered a different flavor and I ask for my money back. So here we are waiting and waiting again. They finally came out with my money and for my mom the flavor of the day that they said they were out of. I was so confused.? They also could of offered us a free mixer on our next visit after we had waited for such a long time but no such luck.“
“Speaking as a tourist, not an expert in Chicago-style hot dogs or anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The shop is small with only a few tables but the vibe and decor were very cute, eg. the maps, paintings, and portrait of Anthony Bourdain. We got a Chicago-style dog for a snack, and the presentation with all the toppings was beautiful. As a first-time tryer, I was surprised by how much I liked the hot dog. A lot going on - the snappy sausage, sour pickled cucumber, fresh tomatoes, and savory relish - but everything came together nicely and created a balanced bite. It was on the salty side so a sufficient amount of water was a must.“
“Boneyard was as a dandy restaurant we found during our recent trip to Madison. It was a bar and grill that had a rather large menu. I went for some wings as I tend to do and they had a good variety of sauces and cooking styles. I got mine bone-in with half Boneyard Heat and half Boneyard Bbq. The bbq was a mostly sweet bbq but had a little kick at the end. The Boneyard Heat was one of the best spicy wing sauces I've ever had. It was a variation of a Buffalo but had so much awesome flavour. Heat and tremendous flavour these wings had it all. Also at the table we got a half rack of ribs which was quite delicious. The service was excellent and rounded out a most excellent meal. Their wings alone make it worth the trip for me.“
