The food was excellentGyoza, Tonkatsu and sushi were all fab. The service was drab and impersonal. Ambiance wasn't great but still giving high scores though cause it was delicious.
Usually this restaurant isn’t super busy allowing for a nice quiet dinner. The food great and the roll menu has a ton of options. I like how they categorize the rolls between cooked and raw making it easier to make a decision.

I'm coming out of yelp retirement to praise this place for it's no-nonsense, great approach to sushi. The decor is nothing special. Who cares. The sushi is great. The taisho absolutely knows what he's doing. Half the sushi bars in KY can't even do normal hosomaki. Not only do I not have to ask for the nori to be the right way around here, I get perfectly tight rolls that aren't going anywhere when I dip it in the shoyu.
