We stopped in here a couple weeks back while attending The Unbroken Circle Music Festival and it was honestly one of the more memorable moments of the trip. (Outside of the actual festival). Great times, good prices, awesome experience!

This place is growing in popularity for a reason. Ambient neighborhood bar with a pro staff, reasonable prices, and a great blend of cozy and open. The real hang is out on the spacious patio, and there is often live music/karaoke. Easy to make friends here, an indispensable spot for neighbors and visitors alike.

It's always a good time at First Street. Drinks are very reasonably priced and cold, entertainment is mostly on par, and the outdoor area is an amazing touch. Slightly off the beaten path but definitely worth the short walk or golf cart ride to check out.

Always have great time at the First Street Saloon,great service and friendly staff! As a recent newcomer to Madison I find it a great place to meet new people and have a good time! Also,as a local musician I appreciate their support of the local music scene,with live bands,Kareoke and the Wed. night open mike. If I have friends coming in from out of town,this is one of the first places I think of to have them get a feeling of the local flavor!!
