Long time Frisches customer. Tonight, 10/28/25, I was a little, disappointed. Drive Thru order #477764 was good and bad. Ordered two Super Big Boy platters that onion rings & Cole slaw were to be included. Sandwiches and onion rings were good as always. We only received one cole slaw. Also on the order was 3-piece chicken tenders w/fries and an order of mozzarella sticks. The chicken tenders pieces were very small, about half the size of what is normally served. I've loved Big Boy since I was a kid
Their breakfast buffet is open- they didn’t keep up with it at all, went up the first time, 80% empty - waited, went up again - it was worse. There was a line of unhappy folks. Frisch's Big Boy offers a pleasant dining experience with friendly and attentive servers. The breakfast bar features hot and fresh food, including crispy bacon, spicy spuds, and fresh fruit. The restaurant's atmosphere could benefit from some updates, such as replacing carpeting at the entrance with tile and a rug. However, the easy parking and close proximity to the door make it a convenient stop. Customers appreciate the well-done fries and quality-checking their food, especially for items like burgers that taste similar to McDonald's but at a higher price. The place is often calm, making it a good spot for a relaxed meal, whether enjoying breakfast or lunch. The staff, including servers like Angel, are attentive and friendly, ensuring quick service. The breakfast options, like the ham and cheese omelet, are considered good, and prices are reasonable. Overall, Frisch's Big Boy remains a dependable choice for both locals and visitors seeking familiar comfort food in a casual setting.
