Love this place, the people, the vibe, the food, its all wonderful. You walk in and they treat you like family. The breakfast you can order is much like you would get at a home town diner and the donuts are unlike any others. I won't eat Krispy Kreme, Duncan donuts - none of those popular brands bc these blow them out of the water.

I was visiting Madison Indiana and had the opportunity to try their donuts... You will not find better donuts anywhere. I took some home to my family who absolutely loved them. If you are driving through do not miss these!

Super friendly atmosphere kinda like walking in Mom's kitchen. Just a small place sometimes hard to find parking but worth it!
I've had the big breakfast and it was good but the doughnuts are like eating a big beautiful cloud so fluffy and delicious.
I mean the people were friendly and everything was good but those doughnuts! I took a picture for you!

Had breakfast there this morning and was absolutely the worst breakfast I've ever had the misfortune of eating. Waited almost 40 minutes when all the other tables had food and when it arrived everything was cold and served on paper plates, they said they just reopened the grill but if that's the best they can do they close it permanently and maybe stick with the donuts......

The food was mediocre served on paper plates and barely warm. They were understaffed so lines for donuts were long and seated customers waited. The donuts were a bit dry and the icing had no flavor. Staff became rude because they were told food was cold. I wouldn't recommend dining in.

We had the cookies in our Holiday Open House Cookie Tin and they were fabulous 🙌 Thank you 😊 we love the donuts and appreciate the hard work everyone puts into the daily routine to accommodate businesses and customers day after day! We love Horsts!!!!

We just had breakfast here and it was very delicious. The Daniel Boone donut is a wonderful world of light cinnamon. The service is fast and pleasant, and everyone seems to know everyone.

I have looked forward to my visits to Madison and bringing home Horst treats to my family in Northern IN. I've been doin this about 12 yrs..about 40 dollars a pop. This passed Sat 1/6...was no different got up and around was there before 7.. 7:30 the grandkids checked out and claimed their treat..To kids CHOCOLATE is the bomb..so 1st to grab..2 chocolate covered were hard as a hockey puck...the rest was fresh..I am so disappointed...
