I can't say enough good things about Horst's little Bakery. Waterest was great. Food was fresh and very good. Coffee was great. Just a nice little place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. It is very clean.

Horst donuts are well known own in our area for being top notch. I'm newer to the area and hadn't tried them until today and I was definitely not disappointed! I've been to several bakeries in different locations over the years but Horst's tops them all. Fresh donuts, large variety, and friendly service.

Bunch of nice ladies, I didn’t see what I was looking for so I asked if they had any maple donuts. The lady helping me asked how many I needed and had them glazed, got two maple donuts and a caramel donut and hands down the best donuts I’ve had!

Great little bakery that's been around for awhile!!! Their doughnuts, pastries and cakes are always wonderful!!! They do sellout fast, so be sure to get there well before closing!!!!!!

Tried to go there over and over. Closed Sunday. Closed Monday... OK, I says open Tuesday 4:30-11am... went there at 10am... Closed. No sign, no reason, no update online. What a JOKE!

i lived in madison until i was 10 years old, and before i moved this spot was one of my favorite places. horsts is very nostalgic for me, and brings back great memories. i come back often to visit family, and old friends from my elementary school years…and horsts is something i feel that everyone in madison truly bonds over this (in my opinion) true gem. my uncle knew the owners and their entire story, and they are truly all amazing people! go support and get yourself a delicious sweet treat, you won’t regret it!

We had the cookies in our Holiday Open House Cookie Tin and they were fabulous 🙌 Thank you 😊 we love the donuts and appreciate the hard work everyone puts into the daily routine to accommodate businesses and customers day after day! We love Horsts!!!!

They sell out quick, so the earlier ya get there the better, but they ARE, HANDS DOWN ,the BEST AROUND ??
