We came to Madison planning to have lunch at Hinkle’s, but since they were closed for vacation we walked down the street to MadLove. I am SO glad we did!!! One of the best burgers I’ve had in a while, and the carrot cake was incredible. Our server Mandy was awesome too - just a great experience all around.

My husband and I just had dinner here. Loved it. The food was delicious. We tried the smash burger—yummy and juicy; Mac and cheese with pulled chicken; wings—awesome, tender and smoked. And my Cosmopolitan was perfect! Fun atmosphere. Great service!

I came here after hiking Clifty Falls w/ my dog. We sat in the back patio section which was uniquely decorated w/ a chandelier and fun paintings.
The food was good but the service was even better. They came out w/ treats for my dog and gave him a treat bag when we left.

Triple good 1) good food, 2) good beer, and finally good music that is played at the correct volume. You can hear it, plus you can talk with friends at your table. Just where else do you go that has all three? Plus a veteran staff, bartender, and even the owners at your very beck-n-call. If you know any place in Madison that qualifies on 'all three stages', you tell me where it is.

This place is a real winner! I started with the Mac N Cheese, and let me tell you, it was super delicious. They use spiral macaroni, which holds the creamy sauce perfectly, and the shaved parmesan on top added a touch of elegance. Next up was the Madlove Salad. What I appreciated most was the variety of greens; it's definitely not just iceberg lettuce in there! Plenty of chunky, fresh veggies and a generous amount of cheese rounded it out nicely. For my main course, I went with the Mai Tuna, and I wasn't disappointed. The tuna was expertly prepared, and I particularly enjoyed the accompanying asparagus, which was tender and glazed with a subtle sweetness. The cole slaw was a refreshing surprise – more vinegar-based than mayonnaise, which suited my palate perfectly. And who can forget the parmesan fries? Finally, the Brussel sprouts were a standout. The addition of cashews was inspired, and the orangish sauce, reminiscent of what you'd find on orange chicken, was absolutely addictive. We also really loved the music playlist. We groved while we ate our food

We arrived at the restaurant with less than an hour until the kitchen closed. The hostess was super nice and offered us a table anyway. The staff was super attentive and kind. They offered crayons & paper for our daughter to color and even gave her some suckers (with our permission). The food was amazing! We ordered the mac n’ cheese and buffalo chicken wrap. We opted for the chocolate cake for dessert to celebrate my birthday. Our waitress didn’t even charge us for the cake. Great dinner experience in Madison!
