Great view! Food just okay and that might even be a stretch! Out of burgers, chicken tenders, chips and Pepsi! Waitress was super friendly and sweet! LONG wait for warm draft beer and even LONGER wait for food!! Honestly took almost an hour for food! Waitress said only one person in kitchen - so perhaps she was new?? Other diners got their food before us, but arrived after us …. party of six waited longer than us, but they were there before us!! Apparently long wait unless you order fish?? French fries tasted like fish oil OR old grease! Love the view but could have sat on a bench along the river with take out just as easily!!

This place was the absolute worst dining experience I’ve ever had. First I order the Lighthouse burger on a holiday weekend and am told “ sorry we are out of Hamburger”. Secondly my wife ordered the tenderloin sandwich expecting a real piece of pork (not a dry heavily breaded frozen patty I could get in the frozen food section of Kroger” and asked for some mayonnaise only to be told “we don’t have any”. She said well you can take it back because I can’t eat it dry with no sauce. She asked for a grilled cheese instead which required many napkins(which I had to go get myself because waitress never gave us silverware or napkins) to dab the grease from her hands after every bite. She also ordered tater tots that should have been labeled as grease bombs because they were not edible due to the amount of grease. The acting manager came out and asked what was wrong with her food and insisted we had to pay for it whether we ate it or not. We paid $74 for a meal that wasn’t worth $25 because this business puts profit before customer satisfaction. I will NEVER spend another dime in this establishment.

If you just want to go drink this place is good. It's on the water but the food isn't the best and the service sucks .

Great view of the Ohio River but the food and drinks were way overpriced for what you got. Frozen pattie hamburger with about 8-10 French fries costing $15 not worth it. Music was so loud you could barely hear the server or the people sitting at your table. Could be an awesome place but changes would have to be made.

My husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. We sat right by the water and had a beautiful view. Our server was friendly and attentive.. The food wasn't anything to write home about, but the side salad was surprisingly large and fresh! They were out of quite a few menu items like burgers and chicken, though. My husband's fish did feel over-fried, but the view and the ambiance were worth it for sure. We didn't get any drinks, but we felt like the food wasn't too overpriced.

The atmosphere is the only reason I would recommend Madison Lighthouse! The service was incredibly slow. One of our sides came out as an appetizer. My husbands food came out after 48 minutes and he was able to finish his meal(at my request so it wasn't cold) before my food ever came out. When I asked for the check I was told to wait while she caught up. Food was mediocre. Glad I stopped in but will not be back.

Our wait for basic food was over 1 hour. The food was overpriced for what was. Group of 4. My husband’s cod, shrimp and hush puppies were overcooked, while his fries were cold. Our friends were initially charged $23 for a $15 meal and it took WAY too much effort to get the right price. We did like sitting on the river but will never go back.

Atmosphere was amazing we loved eating on the water BUT the service and food was sadly not worth the visit. If you are in Madison Indiana I would not recommend coming here. We waiting over an hour on our food which woulda been fine if we were told ahead of time that it was taking a long time. When we arrived we were only told it was 10 minutes wait to put food order in. We got the wrong appetizer and after and hour and 30 minutes we said we would like to pay for ONE appetizer because she brought out the wrong one and go eat somewhere else. The manager said we would have to pay for our food no matter what. Other people also got orders before us. After we made a complaint everyone was very rude making rude comments and our waiter couldn’t even come down to give us the rest of our food or our check she reached over a railing and made us reach for it. And the best part about all of this was our food was served cold as well. No compassion no understanding no discount from any of the staff or manager. What was suppose to be a nice outing with our family after visiting for the first time turned into a horrible experience. Again don’t recommend

This is about 1hr away from us but it never disappoints. Being on the water while having lunch or dinner is so relaxing. The service is great & they make sure everything is just how you ordered it. The food is some of the best I’ve had. Bacon Cheeseburgers are delicious, Fish Sandwich’s are yummy but the hush puppies are my favorite!! My daughter enjoyed her BLT (no T) as well! I’ve never been when a band was playing but I’m sure it can only add to the enjoyment. I frequent as many times as I can but this was the first trip with my daughters & they loved it!

Me and my family decided to visit this restaurant for the first time due to its nice proximity to the water. Sadly we were highly disappointed with our visit. We had ordered a large alcoholic beverage, we watched the owner make our drink as a small size then pour less than half of the alcohol into a bigger glass fill of lemonade. when we asked if we could send it back to receive something else the manager told our server no. The food is disappointing for the price, and I highly do not recommending this place at all. Our server Kali was very nice and provided us with great service, she was the only highlight of our experience . Do not come here unless you want to be disappointed!
