This place was actually really good. My wife and I came here on a Sunday around lunch time and the place was mostly packed. Maybe we didn’t see the whole place but it didn’t seem to have a lot of room. Luckily there was a table open.
The waitress was nice. The food was even better. The portion sizes were solid. In my pictures that is only a half order of the loaded tater tots. I ordered boneless wings and they were fresh and good quality. I tried one of their chicken tacos and it was good as well.
My only negative was that when me and my wife walked in we got some looks. This place has more of a small town vibe so seeing two strangers that obviously weren’t from there walk in may have thrown them off. I’m also a 6ft tall black guy in a town where I saw maybe 1 other black person the whole time. Not saying that’s the reason, I’m just saying.
Overall it was a very good experience. I’d definitely recommend it if you end up in Madison, Indiana for anything.

Great food along Madison's main street a block from the Ohio River. A racing boat on the wall reminds us of the rich racing history. Half the restaurant is a bar which was busy. The food was delicious and made our road trip that much better.

We wanted to hike clifty falls in Madison, IN. We stayed just over the bridge at an adorable AirBNB in Milton, KY.
It was a Monday, Our AirBNB host suggested Off Broadway Taproom. What a good way to spend a Monday evening where options can be limited and what a great recommendation. The food was delicious and they had a special on burritos or burrito bowls for those reducing carbs.
I got the steak burrito, Wife got the Chicken burrito bowl. We had a few old fashioneds with our food and observed plenty of craft beer drafts being available too. The highlight of Off Broadway wasnt just the fact that its actually Off Main but the folks who worked and patroned the estsblishment were all super friendly, accomodating and offered insights and suggestions for the area.
Will return next time we visit the area.

The Coffman Review
After a short walk down Main Street in downtown Madison we arrived at Off Broadway Taproom. We had been before but it was a couple years ago. I remembered it being good.
We ordered a half-order of Loaded Steak Nachos to share. It arrived in record time— like three minutes! 😮
They were AWESOME. They got everything right— salty and crispy house-made tortilla chips, creamy queso, juicy steak, zesty pico and corn salsa, and spicy fresh jalapeños. Their chef knows how to throw down!
My wife tried a beer from Kentucky-based Country Boy Brewing called Cougar Bait. It was a blonde ale and she loved it.
Service was excellent. Our server was incredibly friendly and made sure we enjoyed our time.
We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day. If it weren’t for the fact that I enjoy trying new places I’d probably eat here every time I came to town. It’s 21-and-over, so leave the kids at home.

Had a great taco lunch after hiking Clifty Falls. Friend had two veggie tacos and I had a fish taco and a steak taco. Yum! The raspberry radler from Austria was great too. Nice neighborhood atmosphere and excellent, friendly service.
Been coming to Madison about 15 yrs now 1 of out favorite places to eat is the Taproom..Taco Tuesdays are the best might have to wait alittle bit for a seat but well worth the wait!! Yum fish 🌮 🌮 🌮 🌮
