We took a day trip to Madison from Indy ended up being two days. Our 44 wedding Anniversary was Oct 10 th. Celebrated by having dinner at the River Oak Chophouse and it was great. Both cuts of steak were cooked to perfection served on a thin slab of black stone sprinkled with sea salt. Fabulous presentation and the taste was excellent. We would go back for the food and atmosphere. Materdee ,wait staff and bartender all were there for you. Drinks,sides,and main course about fifty bucks each plus tip…Special occasion special place.

My husband and I loved our meal here. The steak was great, staff was very friendly, they made me a (fair priced!) mocktail because I am pregnant. The value for what you get is awesome!

It was me and the wife's anniversary so we decided to treat ourself. We went here without a reservation, but they made a spot for us outside. The table was small and flimsy but it worked.
So the food was really good, our waitress Emily was very prompt and attentive. The truffle butter was amazing, as was the horseradish sauce.
The flat stone plate was really neat, but the juices run off it easily and got all over my pants lol.
The price is pretty high, for my wife, my daughter and my self the bill was around 250$, it was 300 after the tip.
IMO, it's definitely worth the experience, the food is very good, the service is excellent but the prices seem a bit steep. But we would go back again if we are ever in Madison.

Amazing dinner last night for our 10th Anniversary !! The food and service were excellent ! Our waitress was so lovely and suggested the smothered Chicken which was delicious and perfectly cooked. I will order that again - it was so good . We love having a fancy restaurant right here in our hometown for special dinners - we never need to leave town!

Took a friend for his birthday they even put a card on the table wishing him a Happy birthday. Best steak he ever had. I had sea scallops they melt in your mouth. Would go back and everyone should try them.

This was our first time here, everything was delicious! The Crusty bread with bourbon butter was amazing. It had a bit of char that was wonderful! I had the 8 oz filet & Brussels sprouts, my husband had the Smothered Chicken. Our server Tori was top notch, so friendly and attentive!

Last minute decision for our anniversary to go here. I had never even heard of this place. Absolutely the best decision I made. The service was outstanding, drinks were spot on, steaks were grilled to perfection and the brussel sprouts were amazing! We will definitely be back.

Seriously!😣 $65 for a rib eye that was 2/3 fat. They could have trimmed it a bit. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were cool when I received my order. Sent them back to be reheated. The asparagus was so thick I could only eat the tips. I’ve had truffle butter before; I wonder what type of mushrooms were used to make it.
