We went for our Anniversary hoping to have a special meal. Our waitress Emily was awesome and attentive. The food itself was not. The pasta was very undercooked and had a weird aftertaste. I did not eat it. it was expensive pasta dish to not be cooked. The bread they brought out before the meal and with the meal was burnt. I loved this restaurant when it was in North Vernon and was hoping it would be worth the drive to Madison. Don't understand why you downgraded your food and pretty decor from Crimson Oaks. It's to bad I had high hopes but who could afford paying such high prices for subpar food.

Went for my Fiance birthday. Disappointed was a understatement . 26 for a chicken that was bland and 39 for a steak that was way over salted. 2 drinks was good but food was subpar at best. Will not go back . I can cook way better food at home for 96.00 for 2 meals..

Food and service were amazing. Higher priced restaurant in town but well worth it. Had the surf and turf and it was perfect. For the price we thought a salad should have been included with the meal though. Highly recommend if you are looking for an excellent dinner. Only complaint we had was that it was very loud and tough to have a conversation at your table. Other than that 5 stars for sure.

Food was disappointing for the menu description. I’ve never experienced a wedge salad with a few slices of big Romaine lettuce in a bowl. I had to tear the lettuce with my hands into the bowl. Bacon chunks were very hard and very few. The Seafood Dip appetizer was terrible!!! It was tasteless and had NO PIECES OF ACTUAL crab, lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Extremely disappointed!!! I will never go here again.

One of the best dining experiences we have had in Indiana. Excellent food and drink quality. The old fashion was one of the better ones I have had, the ribeye was cooked perfectly, and dessert was wonderful. Would highly recommend if you're in town!

Really great tasting burger. Chared on the outside and medium rare center. Really liked the cherry jam on the burger. Nice blend of flavor. Fries with herbs and cooked in duck fat were delicious ?

One of the best steaks that I didn't prepare. Truly mouth-watering and even more so when dipped in the steak sauce they provided. I never eat steak sauce, so this is the most extreme complement.

I'm kicking myself that I missed out on their Tomahawk steak, but I had no idea this place even existed until this week. My only gripe was where I was seated. If you make your reservations too late, you might end up like my date and I - having your dinner conversation drowned out by the loudest food processor known to mankind.

However - this was all water under the bridge when the Bananas Foster cheesecake arrived. My god in heaven, this is without a doubt a top 5 cheesecake for me; possibly top 3. It could be number one.

Served warm and seemingly just prepared, it was undeniably the star of the show. I look forward to dining here again, photographing more of their fantastic food and perhaps being able to concentrate on my food as opposed to the sounds of the genius hands making it for me.

10/10 recommend! Courtney was our server and she was great. The duck fat fries were a perfect appetizer. The a la carte filet was cooked perfectly. Loved the roasted carrots and those mashed potatoes. Perfection. I highly recommend the prickly pear margarita, which arrived in a vintage glass. My mom loved the wedge with chicken. We will definitely return! I can see where it could get a little loud. We were there at 5 and left at 7. A large group arrived just before we left and the volume was starting to get pretty loud.

We had reservations for 730 on Saturday night. As we entered we were quickly greeted and escorted to a very cozy table in the rear. Quiet,
warm, and welcoming. Paige introduced herself as our server that night and she was exceptional. Her communication skills and knowledge of the menu were well received. We started with her suggestions of the shrimp cocktail and the PEI muscles. Both were delicious. Next was a wedge salad and a chop house salad with the housemaid gorgonzola dressing. Exceptional! We both ordered the 16 oz ribeye, medium with shareable sides of mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were truly delicious. We did joke with Paige about the actual size of the steaks. We are certain that they are much larger than 16 oz and I kidded with her that I would bring a fish weighing scale next time to weigh my steak LOL. Finished the meal with a banana foster's cheesecake and a delicious cup of coffee. When in Madison we can highly recommend this very special place.
