Super busy from the Christmas parade crowd today! Still killed it. Friendly service. Great food. We had burgers and fries. Served fresh and to order! We will be back!

Stopped in Sun, Nov 9 at 3:40. Every place in town was packed so we came here. Only 1 empty table so we grabbed it. Really friendly guy took our order. My GF ordered a Smashburger without cheese and I ordered Whitefish basket. Waiting a while and the guy brings out food to a large table (like 6 people). We overhear that they made an extra Smashburger without cheese for that table and he took it back to the kitchen. We're waiting a while and my GF says I wonder if they're going to hold that Smashburger without cheese from that table and give it to me when your food is done. I told her there's no way they'd do that. So we wait longer and longer. Food is taking a long time to every table and all the servers are apologizing for the slow service. Our food finally comes out. My Whitefish is hot and perfect, but sure enough, my GFs Smashburger without cheese is not even warm. Not in the least. They did exactly what she suspected. She was pissed, and very hungry. We both couldn't believe they did that and we told the server. He told her he'd get her a new one. Yeah, ya think? So I'm eating my food and she has nothing. She doesn't eat fish so we couldn't even share. Her new burger comes out about 10 min later....WITH CHEESE. OMG. She hates cheese. We couldn't even believe this lunch. What a joke. He apologized AGAIN and went off to get her a new burger. In the meantime the manager(?) came over to see what's going on. We explained, she apologized and said she'd take my GF's meal off the bill and cut mine in half. Her burger came out a few minutes later and it was perfect. So, it all turned out OK, but we were there well over an hour, had to deal with a cold burger, a wrong burger, and slow service. I'm sure it was just a bad day for them, but it really messed up our day and was less enjoyable than we had hoped it would be. If you go, I hope your experience is better.

On Saturday, November 8, we stopped by during a town event with bands. Aware of their busyness, we arrived but couldn't find a seat. The ladies had four chairs and kindly offered us a seat at their table. After 28 minutes, we noticed others arriving after us being served. We mentioned we were there earlier than some, but they said they were busy. During this time, we had no menu, drinks, or service. Realizing the lack of acknowledgment, we decided to leave. Customer service, in our view, includes acknowledging a customer's presence, which we found lacking. (My point is that customer service is at least acknowledging you.) That did not happen!

Have been there twice this month and both times the food was sublime! Chicken fettuccine Alfredo the first time - amazing! Fish tacos the second time - delicious!! I wish there had been 3 tacos (were street size) versus 2 and not as many fries - is my only suggestion. I normally am not much on fries but theirs were sooo good!! Will probably eat there every time I visit Madison! Staff was super friendly too!

Our final stop for the day was at Rivertown Grill. My wife was in the mood for a basket of their Sidewinder Fries.
The fries were hot and crispy. They were a little thicker than I prefer, but my wife loved them.
The dining room was pretty quiet so we sat outside on the sidewalk. There was live music playing on the other side of the bar and we sat and listened as it spilled out into the street.
Prices arw reasonable and great. Bartenders are amazing and friendly. We are making this our weekly bar

My husband and I went there on a Sunday around 6:30. We went to several other restaurants before we came across this one. We were not able to get into the other restaurants because we needed a reservation or the place was closed due to equipment problems. We sat at our table about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. They were not busy at all. There were only a few people in there. They walked by us but didn't even acknowledge we were there. At this point we should have left. When she finally made it to our table, I ordered a margarita. I could have made a pitcher of margarita's before my drink made it to the table. Our waitress walked by our table at least dozen times before she asked us what we wanted to order. The food took a long time to get to us. My husband ordered a glass of water and he drank all of it and had to go to the bar to get it a refill. When our food made it to us it was delicious. We ordered fish and fries. If you don't care about how long you have to wait to order and wait on your food, Or the rudeness of the staff this place is for you.

Went in seated self no one acknowledged us for ten minutes we was leaving when someone finally showed up had music next door when it started they turn up there music torn between so we ask if they would turn down there music at first she put her finger up at my wife very disrespectful

This is definitely a good place to eat! You must try the patio out back, especially at night. Romantic setting, great food, try some wine or a margarita. Perfect stop to rekindle that flame!

I get it, it was a busy weekend, but we waited an hour and a half for our food after our order was taken (we also waited for our order to be taken) and the order was wrong because our food was given to another table that had also waited, but they came in after us. The burger was ok, but the cook was only cooking a single order at a time, the wait staff had no idea who they were giving food to (I overheard one whining to a table that she was sorry for their delay, but their food kept getting taken by other servers?!), and clearly NO ONE was managing the place.
