GREAT coffee and other drinks. Yummy pastries and other snacks although We were hoping for legitimate dessert options. Love that they are open until 8 pm. Minimalist vibe, but sparse and cold.

Came to Madison for a mother daughter trip. The girl at the register looked at my mother with a sour face when she paid with exact change(but mom put a great tip in the jar). The same girl kept looking at us with a frown. We got the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. It had NO flavor....our latte's were flavorless as well.. Hopefully this was a fluke.

The Red Roaster Coffee & Eatery was one of the first places we ever tired in Madison so we typically make a stop when we’re in town.
The rainy morning called for a hot Cafe Miel, an iced Caramel Macchiato, and a Blueberry Scone. I picked it up and brought it back to my sleeping beauty.
They make a high quality cup of joe and the sugar crystals on the scone were enough to raise my wife from the dead. 🥱
I definitely recommend a stop when you’re here.

Food was great. However, the regular medium roast coffe with oatmilk was pretty acidic. Avoiding sugars where we can so kept it simple. Circling back to the food. We never had such a fluffy and tasty breakfast bagels.

Great atmosphere! Prompt, friendly service and quality products. We ordered food and coffee, everything was great.
Staff was unfriendly and the coffee was a little on the burnt roast flavour

Came to this location three times on our trip to Madison. The first two visits were amazing. This last visit not so much. I asked for something a little out of the ordinary. When I picked up my order instead of offering an alternative I got a lecture on why it wouldn’t work in front of a crowd of people who proceeded to stare at me while I walked back to my table. The person had a smile on their face the whole time but the smile really didn’t match the tone.

Red Roaster has quickly become my favourite coffee shop in Madison. The iced lavender matcha latte is to die for. Staff is always super friendly.

Really disappointing that during a busy morning rush the manager let’s a trainee make all the espresso and lattes. We waited thirty minutes to get a black coffee and latte. Good coffee and poor management.
