I am working in the area and El Taco has become a part of our weekly routine. The homemade chips are always fresh and a little queso blanco takes them from really good to great.I am a boring eater so honestly I usually eat a burrito asada and it consistently comes out great.Service is definately a highlight though, as our orders are always taken quickly. Drinks, chips, and our meals arrive quickly also and drinks are monitored well for refills.The place is in a small, multibusiness building so it is pretty authentic Mexico and not the production we are accustomed to in the typical Mexican restaurant.Worth being a repeat customer.

My family and I moved to Indiana from San Diego CA in 2016 and have been on the hunt for good Mexican food ever since. We've found some ok places here and there. Since living in Marion for 2 years we've passed by El Taco Express everyday but never tried it...the name just screamed "Gringo trying to sound Mexican!" Well our desperation for a good burrito got the best of my husband and I tonight so we gave it a shot and we were happily surprised to be eating food that really reminded us of the taco shops back in San Diego!! Very good! I got the carne assada burrito and hubby got a chicken burrito and both were delicious! All we're missing still is the San Diego style rolled tacos but I think that's going to take a trip back to CA!!

The kids that work dinner are more interested in socializing with each other than providing service. You will wait 15, 20 minutes for your drink even if there are no other people dining there. If you order guac, you won't get it under after you've eaten your chips 10 minutes after getting your drinks.
called ahead and reserved a table. Got there and none of my requests were fallowed.Service was not good.Enchiladas where good. The rice was old and dry.The beans where stuck together.The soda was the best part of the meal!!!!!I do not recommend this place.

The food is wonderful and very filling. The portion size given is awesome you can never finish the whole meal, and you'll have to take home the rest which is the best part, because you get to eat it again later or tomorrow. The service is okay....could be better. But whomever is the cook they are very fast and skilled!!!Parking: The parking area out front of the restaurant is very limited and very tight, they share parking lot with 3 other stores/ shops.

1st time visiting, and I was pretty impressed. The service was good, the staff was friendly, and the server kept checking up with us constantly to make sure all was well. I had the "Milanesa de pollo." Breaded chicken breast sandwich, and was it good. Also tried the rice with chicken, and it blew my mind on how good it was. Being Puerto Rican, we have our typical way of doing rice with chicken, but the Mexican style is delicious. When I go back, that will be a must-have for me.

Always good food! Prices are great! Very reasonable prices they don't have quesabirria but they have birria just have to ask for the dip! They still are good! The regular tacos are amazing very authentic! The most recommended in town for price flavor and authenticity
