I am working in the area and El Taco has become a part of our weekly routine. The homemade chips are always fresh and a little queso blanco takes them from really good to great.I am a boring eater so honestly I usually eat a burrito asada and it consistently comes out great.Service is definately a highlight though, as our orders are always taken quickly. My family and I moved to Indiana from San Diego CA in 2016 and have been on the hunt for good Mexican food ever since. We've found some ok places here and there. Since living in Marion for 2 years we've passed by El Taco Express everyday but never tried it...the name just screamed "Gringo trying to sound Mexican!" The food is wonderful and very filling. The portion size given is awesome you can never finish the whole meal, and you'll have to take home the rest which is the best part, because you get to eat it again later or tomorrow. The service is okay....could be better. But whomever is the cook they are very fast and skilled!!!Parking: The parking area out front of the restaurant is very limited and very tight, they share parking lot with 3 other stores/ shops.
