I ordered the French toast and it was amazing. Everyone in the house who got the food ate it and enjoyed every bit of it. Absolutely delicious.

Never eaten there, never will. Owner blasts music extremely loud all day every day making it impossible to sleep for anyone who works nights. Would never patronize an establishment with no consideration for any one that lives by their business.

Very small but has outdoor seating in the summer. Very personal and friendly service.

Food's good and I like the diner feel. Owner is a cool guy as well.
But we don't need to hear the music during business hours from 10 blocks away. I'm sure it draws some people in but it's a major nuisance when you live down the road from it and you have to hear it every day.

"But they have such a great personality".....that's usually polite way to end things.....but don't. Trust me.

I have to give this 5 stars from the heart. Not my wallet or my taste buds. That's probably a 4ish.

We've ate here a few times, and will continue to do so when we are in the area. It's good enough to recommend to others; in my opinion. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Small menu. Occasionally specials, that actually are "special". (The meatloaf is a special, and actually pretty good!)

Service wise, you can't wholeheartedly beat it. The owner does most of the work himself. Usually 100%, from our experiences. That's tough; if you've ever manned a kitchen and the books. Very delightful fellow. Very knowledgeable and intent on making your dining experience enjoyable. Thus I HIGHLY suggest dining inside, the small yet cozy diner. Why???

Lemme tell ya why....sit down and watch; the magic in your mouth, being built in front of you. Then watch the same man serve you, and clean up. That's hustle. That's dedicated. That's LOVE. Man only takes time off to serve his family. From me, that's called R-E-S-P-E-C-T. 🎶🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶 sing it!!!

My man jams some good tunes too. Spreading good vibes, in a neighborhood of hurt. That's LOVE. ❤️.

Well worth the visit. A gem amongst the ruins. Give it a shot, and take in the environment. Perhaps then; folks will understand the struggle, to succeed, when most of the surrounding hasn't.

Food: This is a bacon cheeseburger. With side of chilli cheese fries.

Pros: fresh, not frozen beef patty. Not a smash burger by any means. I'd say close to 8oz patty. Bun was fresh. Store bought, but not the cheap ones. Probably 75c in the bun alone.

Burger has great flavor. Cooked evenly and well done on flat top. Not overly greasy, but you definitely get that flavor you are after. Grab a napkin. Or 2.

Fries: hand cut right in front of me. Cooked in front of me, and prepared with house made chilli (note later) and grated cheddar. These are great. A bit pricey as a "side", but shut up and eat em. They good! Fryer oil did NOT screw these up. Oil is definitely clean, and proper temperature.
(McDonald's makes me 💩 🤷‍♂️)

So I got 2 baskets on this trip; and other basket similar to the pictured (mine!). Plus 2 cans of "pop". $37.50.

You be the judge. I'm just gunna keep eating and supporting like minded folks. ✌️

Me and my husband stopped at this place after playing in the snow and were instantly welcomed. We recently moved up here to Marion from Tennessee. The owner is a wonderful man and works the restaurant alone. The food is great and the hospitality is even better (which is awesome because the food is some of the best I’ve had). It’s hard to miss, but if you do happen to come across I’d still go. I cannot say enough how awesome this experience was for us.

Hours are random. I wouldn’t trust a business that can’t keep regular hours.

I've stopped 5 times over the last 3 months and every single time they are closed but one. That one time....no hamburger meat. Wanted to support local but won't waste my time anymore
