Los Amores Restaurant & Cantina offers authentic Mexican food with a neat atmosphere and very clean kitchen. The menu has tons of choices, including excellent carnitas, choripollo, veggie fajitas, enchiladas, and tacos, all with great portion size and fresh chips and salsa. Many dishes can be made celiac safe/gluten free. The food looks really good at about the same price as any restaurant. The owners and staff are wonderful people who accommodate any way they can. The venue is nice for a grab and go lunch or a romantic date night, with a cantina for cocktails and a small bar that hosts a poem club in the summer. This hidden gem supports the downtown area and is a consistent favorite for the best Mexican food.
