The Fried chicken and tenders were delicious.Just like Mom made.The green beans were also tasty and I just loved the fried potatoes.The restaurant was quaint and very clean.They had a lot of on line orders to go .I do believe you're going to like the place to eat inside or get it to go for a picnic at Morgan Monroe State Forest.
Tonight I bought gizzards and fried mushrooms. The gizzards were absolutely terrible! Hard, over cooked, almost burnt to an extent. I’ll come back again because I do love the chicken. Not happy with spending 18 dollars for something I couldn’t even eat. One star for the food today. 5 star for service. I will post pictures of the gizzards so you can see what I mean
Super unhealthy as everything is deep fried but it's all bomb! Very great, friendly staff. Food was all hot and fresh. Had the fried green tomatoes and tenders with fried potatoes. The tenders are on the bigger side so beware on the 4 pc. Overall great experience, we will definitely be back.
