Went on a Saturday night only 2 servers and the bartender had to serve our booth. It took 10 minutes before she asked to help us. We ordered and i had one of the drinks off the menu ( Makers Mark punch). My advice don't get it it was horrible those flavors do not mix well. It took awhile for our food to come but it was good except the fries were a little salty. Also the manager had to help bring out the food. Overall it wasn't too bad but please get more staff it was getting busier as we were leaving.

Waiters and waitresses were rude and acting lazy. Food took over an hour to come out. Drinks took 30 minutes to come out. DO NOT recommend. When food did come out, they brung it out one by one. My friends were done eating SOME of their food by the time ours came out. Food doesn’t come out all at once.

Jasmine B is a terrible server!! 30 minutes for a chocolate milk and coke, she had 2 other tables. Talked to her co workers right infront of us for about 10 minutes before ever getting our drink order. Food was terrible obviously. Jasmine was very rude at every exchange. Applebee's completely needs to re staff this location or it'll be closed soon.

We waited over 40 minutes for our food.Everyone in my party got their order but they were almost done before I got mine which were ribs, that's only because my sister went up to the girl and told her I never got my food. The waitress never came over to see if we needed anything either. We also had to ask for our check.
My Mom and I had lunch between her Doctors appointments.. She had seen the commercial for 2 Entrees and appetizer for $25.00 and wanted to try it.. We went to the Applebee's in Merrillville it was really good.. Needless to say My Mom loved it and We will definitely go back..❤️

I couldn't call my son and daughter-in-law to go somewhere else at this point so we all had water.Was a little upset about that..It was a skeleton crew at best working as well it took awhile for our food to arrive.There was one waitress for the whole restaurant it looked like...

After waking in I waited a few minutes for someone to seat me. There were no bartenders seen or any other staff members. I had a party of 5 and was the first to arrive. After being seated, Ari read me the drink menu and told me the el jefe margarita is the best and strongest. The rest of my group arrived, we ordered our drinks and food right away. The drink menu with all the specials wasn’t effective until tomorrow but they can still make the drinks, we were told. The table behind ours arrived after, ordered after, and left the same time we did. They received their drinks and food before we did. We had the same amount of people in our parties.
Our friend’s appetizer platters looked good and our shared opinion ring appetizer tasted good. We ordered the $2 Jose margaritas with sugar on the rims. We received 4 drinks and only one with the sugar rim. The main course. My husband’s bourbon steak was cook just as he requested. There were no complaints about the mushroom burger. The salmon meal; the salmon was dry and tough, she picked the whole piece of salmon up with her fork. The chicken tender meal was so greasy, it looked like it had been fried more than once. I put a napkin under hoping to soak it up but it didn’t help. I bit into the hard chicken “tender” but the grease was horrible. The chicken was dry and hard. The fries were good. Good seasoning and not overcooked. The baby back ribs were tiny, dry ,hard, and just a waste of time and effort. I bit into it hoping to taste juicy bbq ribs and couldn’t even bite the meat off the bone it was so hard and dry. We tried multiple times to alert Ari our waitress when she was around but we didn’t see much of her. When we did tell her about the ribs she said she doesn’t eat them because they don’t taste good. She took them back and they removed them from our order. Thank you. I thought about it and decided the tenders needed to go back too. So the manager came out and I explained and showed her the tenders. She asked if I wanted a replacement I replied no. She took $10 off for the tenders. My friend didn’t want to complain about her salmon. The lighting inside was very dim. The lighting outside was broke and there were no outdoor lights. One of the people we sat by complained about his handicapped wife tripping and falling because it was so dark. He used his headlights to help her get into the truck. Yes the tip was an insult but so was the service sometimes knowing when to keep your comments to yourself pays off.
