“Just finished an early dinner as my first experience with Cajun Crab House. It was outstanding! I had 6 raw oysters along with the Deep Fried Catfish and my son had a Crab Cake appetizer and Shrimp linguine. Some of the best seafood I’ve had in a while. Even better than the food was the service. I have problems with spicy food due to chemo and Ciara, our server, went out of her way to check the spice level of the food I had ordered. Several trips to and from the kitchen and I picked the Catfish…..perfect choice. I have no problem with anything. Was one of the better experiences I’ve had”

“I was looking for a close spot to have a cold beer and grab a bite to eat in-between my daughters volleyball games and stumbled upon the gem called R Place. This spot is great! I was told that they have been in business 42 years! WOW, and I can see why. They are very friendly and treat you well. The food is fantastic and the locals are very laid back and make you feel welcome as well. If I was local to the area, this bar would be my base! A throwback feel to the better times, in my opinion. 5 ✨'s! I hope to get a chance to visit again.”

“Had never eaten here before attending a memorial lunch for a family member yesterday.Wonderful buffet,many choices-we had perch,beef and roasted chicken.Fresh veggies,good salad,roasted redskins,excellent rolls and very good ice cream for dessert.Table service was excellent,our waitress was friendly and professional,and we did not feel rushed(you know how people linger to chat at gatherings like this) .I highly recommend this venue and will be trying their restaurant again.Also had very clean bathrooms! Located in the Innsbruck Country club.”

I am late, but I had to mention the waitress at LongHorn in Merrillville, IN. My son, the birthday guy, along with me and his sister, decided to celebrate with 8 of his friends at LongHorn. Sasha, our waitress, was super nice, patient, and understanding with all nine teenagers. The food was great; even the hostess at the front was super polite. Excellent experience. Thank you, Sasha!”

“A friend recommended Las Jacarandas for great Mexican food in the area. We ordered a ton of items to take out. Was not disappointed whatsoever! Tried an assortment of items (chile relleno dinner, variety of tacos such as beef, fish, steak, pork, chorizo, chicken mole) and everything was excellent! The sides (rice, refried beans) and the sauces were all excellent and better than any other Mexican restaurant. Cannot wait to eat in next time!..This place rocks!!”

“Went to the Valpo location this morning and brought my mom along. Was a first time for the both of us. While the food was good, service was excellent, however, I ordered the meat lover this morning which was 3 scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, hash browns and sausage. The only complaint I have was the eggs. While they were good, it was only like 1.5 eggs. did not seem like 3. Thats my only complaint. Thought about ordering a side of eggs to make up for it, but decided against it. Other than that, it was delicious. I will be back for sure.”

Neither was over on flavor and sweetness nor under! For me they were perfect, this is by far the best review and desserts that I've ever given and tasted respectively of a Dessert business and I am a chef/baker and have opened 26 restaurants since 1994 so I know what it takes! I told the owner I would give a review if I enjoyed and I did so here i am!! Great Job Sir and I will be back!!”

“Had the two tiered cake for a birthday party, which was delicious. However, because of the cellophane wrapping collapsing on itself, the frosting was irreparably ruined. it would be wise for the company to invest in boxes to be used to transport such an expensive cake for its customers. No matter the temperature, cellophane wrapping will make contact with icing and look sloppy.”

“When I seen the name of this place I was instantly intrigued, who would dare call themselves Taco Pros?

“Our first time at 'La Carreta' was great! Our host, Benito, was very kind to us and gave the kids some candy. I loved that they had margaritas in different flavors and sizes—some glasses were even bigger than they looked in the photos! Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was good for the price, and they let us swap ingredients in our dishes without any issues. Even though we stayed a bit past closing time, the owner never rushed us out; they were so nice to let us stay a little longer.”

The large fried shrimp were big thick pieces battered & fried perfectly crispy & they removed the tails so you have no waste. The fried lake perch was battered & fried crispy big fillets. The business itself is just a small take out shack but thank you to the cooks who are making delicious food inside. We will definitely be back again soon.”

“I recently stopped by Texas Corral for lunch and had a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. We arrived during lunchtime and were pleasantly surprised to have no wait at all, which made it an easy and relaxed visit. The dining area was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming, casual atmosphere that works well for both quick lunches and sit-down meals.

For our meals, we ordered the ribeye steak and the country fried steak. Both entrées were seasoned well and cooked just right. The ribeye was juicy, flavorful, and tender, with a nice balance of seasoning that didn’t overpower the meat. The country fried steak was equally satisfying—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired perfectly with rich, savory gravy. Portions were generous and filling, especially for a lunch meal.

Service was another highlight of our visit. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out promptly without feeling rushed. Drinks were refilled regularly, and we felt well taken care of throughout the meal.
