The pretzels first looked good at glance. But when I took a bite, they were stale like they've been out for three days and handed to me could've used more salt as well. Also only gave two cheese cup when I paid for four. The pretzels were also burnt and did not taste like a pretzel should overall not a good experience I expected better.

Stopped in for a Ben's Soft bacon pretzel. Glad to see the place is under new ownership. The pretzel was delicious. Highly recommend bacon on pretzels. The restaurant was clean and the workers were very polite and friendly. I watched one worker take their time with an elderly customer. Kind of warmed my heart...like this bacon pretzel. 5 outta 5 stars. Will be back. I work down the street but I'll probably Grubhub or Doordash them.

Met the owner - super friendly. Veteran, 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Incredibly nice, very thoughtful and interesting to talk to. And the pretzels, of course, are superior. Highly recommend, and is looking for dependable employees in this tough labor environment. If you are interested, please connect with him - I'd hate to see this place close because I'm addicted to the pretzels!

I ordered 9 pretzels with Arturo who took my order over the phone. He was polite and provided excellent service all the while answering the phone and serving customers while working by himself. He got my complicated order perfect! Thank you Arturo!!!

Had a bad experience here today getting a pretzel with my daughter. The guy that took care of us was so rude and disrespectful. That alone made me not want to come here again. Then as I'm getting in my car I try a piece of my pretzel and it was super hard smh must've been sitting there all day. Lazy employees can't even check on the food to see of its good to sell or not smh Marian is the name on my receipt. Not sure if that's the guys name that took care of me or not but that guy needs to learn how to talk to people

The worst Bens pretzels! The employee that was working was extremely rude to us the whole time. He treated us like we were below him. Made me feel like I was just some stupid idiot and I was interrupting whatever he was doing. Not that he was doing much.. He even talked rudely to my 11 year old daughter. Who talks to children that way? A l***** And the cheese we got was awful. Tasted like it had been sitting out for days. I would not recommend this place at all.

The owner took my autistic sons order and my son was explaining what he wanted and the owner said to him " It's not that hard to make an order " Well, sir...for him it was important. You were very rude !!!!

Today I visited the Merrillville location and I asked for a “pretzel dipped in butter” an employee yelled from the back and said “we don’t dip the pretzels in butter but we can brush the butter”. For one, as a customer who isn’t a regular at this establishment I didn’t know I had to use the correct term, they knew exactly what I meant. Secondly it was unprofessional and quite rude to yell from the back when he wasn’t the person who was taking my order. He then proceeded to talk about another customer who ordered a cup of butter and called him “gross”. He’s doing this in front of customers in line! To add more insult to injury I called corporate office 3 times today and it went straight to voicemail so now I am forced to leave a distasteful experience I’ve had with this establishment and I will give them a call again in the morning!
