Typical Cracker Barrel. Food was actually fresh and tasty. Service was slow and had to ask multiple times for plates and silverware. They weren't even that busy.

We go to cracker barrels all the time when traveling, but this was one of the most disappointing experiences that we've had at one. Place was not busy yet service was extremely slow. Our waitress showed up to take our order and then give us our bill and never check back on us at any other time. Again they were not busy so it's not that she was checking on other tables, she was probably just hanging out somewhere in the back. When we went to leave likewise there is about five or six employees just hanging out loudly talking around the front cash registers even continuing to have conversations as I was attempting to check out. Any well managed place would not put up with this level of behavior by its employees. Plan on being in town again in the future but will not return to this business.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is consistently good. The gift shop is always fun to look in and has a nice holiday section and fun items. It's usually slow paced and a wait for your food, but it's fine if you're not in a hurry.
