Easily the worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to prior to these owners I used to go to this location all the time. Now I only go rarely and after my last experience I will never go again. They don't care about the customer at all. Even when it's their fault they will not give you a refund. On their website you can buy Dairy Queen Frozen cakes. But when you order them and go to pick them up they don't even offer them in store. And they won't refund you. They could easily take them off of their website but they don't. They are incompetent to say the least. And the outside of the building could use some work too. The concrete is all messed up and they obviously don't have anyone to cut their grass. Really sad what has become to one of the better Dairy Queens
New ownership is absolutely terrible. They don't give refunds, even for their errors, and the lady at the window was short and rude. Asked for caramel 3x for a dessert. They said yes to confirm each time. We'll, got home and no caramel. The ice cream very soft and melty. Also, dilly bars only come in a bag and not wrapped. Will not be back.
Unfortunately new owner, definitely has went down
I’ve experienced a host of problems during three visits to this location. The blizzards were poorly mixed on one occasion. The pretzel sticks were hard as a rock on the second visit. Finally, I felt like I was in trouble for asking for a lid for my blizzard. On at least two of the visits there were literal children running around the kitchen. I understand possibly needing to bring kids to work for one reason or another but at least ensure they have something to do to keep busy. I am happy to say that on my most recent visit my blizzard seems to be mixed well and I was given a lid for my blizzard with no problems. I also didn’t see any children running around.
Love the ice cream.
Perfect as usual
I try not to leave a bad review, but this is my third time coming and they have to be under new ownership because I got a blizzard and any other Dairy Queen I go to a blizzard is soft and their blizzard is really tough and not blended at all, and I asked for cheesecake pieces and it really have no cheesecake in it at all I really do not recommend going here at all. I wish that they was not bought off.
They gave me a hotdog it smells like straight up mold and also taste like mold! I got the 7$ meal deal never come here they have moldy and rotten food taste digusting
Seriously need to hire some people who can use the speaker box because waiting in line 20 minutes, taking the order at the window, and waiting in the parking lot is not going to fly in this area for long. Crown point is 10 minutes down the road. I can get there faster than my order gets taken here..
I mean, it was alright. I wouldn't go again

Meh, not sure what happened to this DQ. Cones are all cracked up, took forever for the soft serve machine to work.
This store was bought out and under new ownership the new owners are foreigners with heavy accents and it's very hard to understand them. I have in the past been able to work my way through that but on today's date January 30th, I went in the store to use a coupon to buy a box of Dilly Bars. Using my app I was able to get a $3 discount on the box. I went to the counter and I brought up the five-digit discount code that this lady did not understand. You have two ways to do this you can do it by a barcode or you can give the counter person a five-digit code. The purchase went South pretty quicklywhen the new owner became upset that I was using the five digital code method. She wanted me to use the barcode. No problem I tried to do that but I could not go back and bring the barcode up but the 5-digit code was still good for the next 15 minutes. She got nasty with me eventually telling me that that five-digit code was for use at another store only not theirs. I told her that she was dead wrong that the codes DONT go by the store. She became even angrier telling me that I don't understand. She then turned her back on me and went about her business. I left out of the store vowing never to come back I'll just go to Crown Point from now on. I am a 69 year old retired firefighter engineer and law enforcement officer. I can't help but feel this air of racism?? This woman is darker than me, and I'm sure she has been on the receiving end of the same crap she was handing out. Her partner was stand near her and never stepped in to help resolve the issue. He never spoke or acknowledged my presence.
Overcharged for food and couldn’t get refund
Don’t purchase from this Dairy Queen second time they over charged me and charged me for what I didn’t order. I ordered the box of starburst and it showed it was $10.99 on their advertisement they lady rung me up for a box of dilly bars that cost $11.99. I told her she rung me up over the amount and she stated it was the tax, so I asked for a receipt and it showed she charged me for dilly bars which was a dollar more. I then told her she overcharged me and she stated that the prices went up as of Oct 1st but the menu showed a different price. The new owners nickel and dime you. I didn’t say anything the first time they charged me for a dipped ice cream which I didn’t ask for but this time I decided to make customers aware. I called the Dairy Queen on broad way and asked how much they chargers for the same box and it was only $10.50. I won’t be back at this Dairy Queen because for me it’s the principal that they take advantage of the customer instead of acting with integrity in their business. I won’t be back although it is literally down the st from my house.
