It's just OK, the rice was hard, either uncooked or had been sitting too long, I had the tampiqueña, not impressed.

Don't recommend the ribeye steak with shrimp seanz. It was a very chewy steak, I could not eat it, even though it was seasoned well. I asked the server and manager if all of their steaks were like this, or if this was just a bad cut. They basically said that all of their steaks were probably like that. It seemed like a low grade / quality stick. I had to spend most of it out because I couldn't chew it. However, the shrimp, the mushrooms, the rice and the beans were delicious. My wife loved the horchata.

Usually have exceptional food. Everything was horribly salty, my chicken Milanese was hard, stringy and tasted like it was fried with fish, Carnitas were fatty/salty and did not taste anything like we had had previously. Chicken replaced with steak tacos - they were also horribly salty and full of gristle and fat, once again nothing like we had previously had. Even the tortillas were extra greasy and very salty. Hopefully a bad night/new cooks but a bit hesitant to return.

Very delicious Mexican food

First, we love their chips & salsa. Service is always friendly & fast. Been here multiple times and are never disappointed. I love the fajita quesadilla and my husband likes the Texas burrito. Would recommend!

I’m really upset I didn’t read more into the reviews first, although I don’t feel I should have had to in order to know what’s in their margaritas. Apparently they use wine, not tequila, as they can only serve beer and wine… that’s not a margarita then and should be noted on the menu. And then to charge the price of a legitimate margarita when it doesn’t even have liquor is absurd. The food was good so if you’re just going for food and beer, try them out. But I don’t feel like I can leave a higher review due to the total deception of this place. They truly need to make customers aware so they can choose if they still want to order a wine “margarita”, but that’s false advertising.

This place is awesome I have never been let down not once from here. As a matter of fact we even meet there and have birthday parties. The rice is on godly great as well as the pork tacos! Service and work are pleasant and very attentive. Thank you guys for being awesome!

Had rated it 5 stars previous...but get attitude from younger girl working there.
Asked for the manager, learned it was hee parents, so I didn't press it.
I go in sometimes but make sure to get a different server. Would have been a four or five star atmosphere but her attitude reduced it to one.

Im gonna say sorry to say I wont be coming back here there steak burrito was bland and the steak they use was nasty it was cut in like circles and like a flat steak style it wasn't right at all the steak was tough and the chips were stale the only good thing there was there salsa was great and also the service was terrible the waiter never returned for a refill on my water and there were several waitresses there to serve im going elsewhere next time I will go to El jimador in Merrillville they have excellent food and even way cheaper priced El jimador has several other locations also as well I wouldn't recommend going to this place to all that read this go elsewhere you cant always go by reviews I'm being truthful on this one I go out to eat a lot and I go to several places but this place fails its terrible food
