This was our first time here, but will definitely return. The whole experience was top notch. The 2 people that waited on us were personable and very patient explaining all the different things they offered. The plates were full and packed with authentic flavor. Try the 3 dip appetizer, but make sure you plan on sharing, because it was generous. The garlic shrimp was the bomb! The burrito grande was quite GRANDE! The prices were very, affordable and they offer take out !!! We will be a loyal patron!!

We stopped at El Dorado on our way to Chicago and enjoyed every minute of it! We were pleasantly greeted by the owner who took amazing care of serving us to ensure we enjoyed our experience in his restaurant. We even shared stories of travels across the country, and it made us feel right at home! I enjoyed a fantasic burrito that was super filling while my wife enjoyed her favorite in hard shell tacos. The lunch special options were great. The owner let us know he has lots of travelers up and down the interstate that stop in, and as one of those travelers, I would highly recommend!

Thhree different visits and got the order wrong every time, twice on thd last time. Returned last time to get the order done tight only to get it wrong again. Sorry, I won't be going back.

We had stopped at this restaurant a year ago after the same tennis tournament that we attended in Chicago. While driving back this year 2025 I was searching for a restaurant at the same exit because it’s Merriville and I knew they had a lot of restaurants and I just so happened to choose this restaurant again by happenstance And lo and behold. It was the same restaurant. What a great experience again and now I will be referring this restaurant to anyone in the Merriville area needing a good place to eat. They’ve got great lunch specials Monday through Friday. We were admiring the nine dollar price for I’m sure an amazing lunch. The quantity that you receive is excellent And I had the burrito grande with Carnitas and my spouse had the quesadilla con Carne Asada with one taco de Carnitas. La comida fue muy rico y el servicio perfecto 100 porcentaje para ese lugar necesita visite cuando en Merriville. 🙌💯🙌🤩💯
