DO NOT order eggs benedict here! Eggs were overpoached, hollandaise was thick and salty as was the ham slices. Very disappointing. Hubs said his skillet was good tho. Voula was spot on service as well.

Good place, good service, and good diner type food.. We have been here a few times and have mostly enjoyed what we have ordered. I haven't had anything that wows me yet, but everything is solid and a great spot when the family can't decide one thing, they all have found something here to their liking. They are closed Sundays so that's been a bummer for us on a few occasions we have dropped by looking for a comfort meal.

Order a chicken parm dinner to go and got grilled chicken with mozzarella cheese on top with some Tomato sauce. Don't understand it should be bread it chicken breast not grilled Chicken tenders this is not a Recommendation. Not sure if the cook now how to cook italian food.

My husband and I ordered the 2 Greek pork chop dinner. We have had it in the past and enjoy it. Today not so much. They looked delicious but could barely cut with knife. All 4 chops were so tough like eating jerky. A whopping 15% was taken off bill. Not a meal but $6 off a bill over $50. Ridiculous!!! Won't be going back anytime soon. So very disappointed

Very tasty and well prepared food. I had the lemon pepper chicken breast; my husband had crab stuffed flounder. Super service. The food is fresh and well prepared and is very reasonably priced

When I’m in or near Merrillville on business, I always choose The Original Grand Park Cafe to dine. Delicious food with layers of flavors. Warm and comforting atmosphere. Staff members, Jose and Jessica, have always made me feel so welcome when I’m far away from home. I cannot express just how much I love this cafe. It doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is amazing for very reasonable prices considering the taste.

I went in for lunch to have the Greek pork chops. My experience was dirty utensils and pork chops extremely undercooked in the center. I sent the chops back twice, couldn't eat them. manager never came out.

Visiting my brother in Crown Point from South Texas and took me to this place for breakfast. Coffee was good and French toast had good flavor. Thats all I had but my brother had a wrap that looked delish.Nice
