Place has potential to be great… good menu good decor and brunch cocktails… however we’ve been there twice and they’re always understaffed so service is slow… they didn’t even have air this past weekend. First time going service was slow but food was good so we didn’t mind. Second time I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and the chicken was not fully cooked ? . Plus with no air it was hot humid and everything was sticky. Would bot go back again after that. Server was friendly and trying his best but it was obvious they need more help… the manager (I assume) didn’t seem to help

Really like this place i ordered chicken and waffles, some waffle fries, and a michelada ?? never to early to start drinking in the am.

Food was great, the restaurant itself was dirty and our waitress was not the best, I shouldn't have to ask to get more water but the food makes up for it.

First time and last time patron at Jelly. I was sat immediately with my friend but waited nearly 20 minutes for a water and drinks. Our waitress (no mask) walked by several times asking for two more seconds. Another 30 minutes before our order was taken and waited a while for it to arrive.I ordered a veggie omelet was was given the complete wrong order. My partner ordered a full order of pancakes and was given a half order. The gravy that came with our biscuits was unseasoned pasteThe waitress walked by and dropped food and silverware on me and made a joke that at least it wasn't hot or sticky.

This place was horrible the service was horrible the waitress didn't want to answer questions it was just a mess. The coffee taste like blop, I would never go to this place again I bill came up to $40 and the food was horrible I took mine home but I didn't eat it it's not about the money it's about the restaurant please no one go there go to Denny's instead. And everybody know me I don't go to Denny's but I will if I ever go to that place again!

My buffalo chicken sandwich was so tasty. Just enough?I also ordered a bloody Mary but was disappointed because when she brought it to me, and it was just a plain old bloody Mary missing all the extra ingredients. That's what I came for, she said they were all out. No celery either. Otherwise would've been a five star.

Food is good, service is beyond terrible. We stuck it out as we were in a party of 6 and we did not want to ruin the occasion; however, never again. Not even if they paid us.

5 big stars for the food... it's very good. However, (specifically Merrillville) We've been 4 times and consistently get grumpy servers and excruciatingly long wait times after our order is in. Then once we get our delicious food we can't get a waiter. I usually just walk up to the front counter and ask for a refill, ketchup or syrup but the owners have some serious amazing potential here. We're super low maintenance so it's not difficult to make us happy .

Came here for mother's day and was very disappointed. On a 37 degree day it was freezing in the restaurant. No one knows how to turn the fans off or change the temperature. Prices have increased and food has decreased. Our service was also not very good. Jelly use to be our favorite breakfast place. We hope the Dyer one is better or we won't be coming back.

Every time I come here I am wait for hours not just one hour. Hours. Their service is terrible. Today I had been waiting nearly a hour for some to take my order. When they did I gave specific instructions because they always seem to not understand. Then waited over an hour to get my food to then have it not correctly made. I ask the waitress to take it back and bring it back correctly. A hour later she comes back talking about here’s the check you can pay at the front. And walked away before I could say something. Then I go to the front for the manager and he go gets my food mind you the same food from a hour ago, nothing different and I tell him to please fix it. He takes the food to the front counter where there is a bunch of people waiting to sit down. It’s a pandemic and they think I’m supposed to eat this food. I tell him I don’t want anything give me my check. They give me a check with that food on there. And then wanna argue with me about my experience. Saying we are packed it’s exceptional. No you have no excuse to have this kind of service. So I wouldn’t recommend it.

Breakfast date with my hubby. The food was not bad, but I would return for their Bellini's!

This place is great for breakfast. They have amazing Bloody Mary’s and they are very large! Great skillets. The waitress Shailyn was such a delight!

My mother placed a order from this restaurant as she was on her way to the restaurant she got into a bad car accident. The restaurant called my phone demanding a payment for a order that was placed 3 hours ago and when I explained to the person what happened he said not to call the restaurant anymore and hung up the phone. To make it worse he called me on his own personal cellphone number. I will definitely be reaching out to the better business bureau to file a complaint.

Pretty terrible. Looked at the prices and figured if they're THAT expensive it must be AMAZING breakfast. Got our food 5 minutes after ordering. Hash browns weren't browned. Tried them anyway, obviously undercooked. Told the waitress and 2 minutes later had a big plate of the exact same undercooked hash browns. Cheese in the omlette wasn't even melted. Toast was soggy. Wife didn't even like her pancakes. $36 for an omlette, pancakes, and 2 coffees, with the coffee being the best thing on the menu.

Brennen our server gave us the best service we have experienced in a long time. Loved the food and the service. Would definitely go back the next time we're in town.
