This was my very first time ordering from here and I must say the food is absolutely horrible. The macaroni has a funny taste and no flavor, it was also really dry. The smothered potatoes were decent, cornbread muffin was extremely burnt and should have not even been served. The smothered chicken was tasteless, cabbage could’ve been cook a little longer. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and had an attitude. I will never eat here again nor suggest anyone to eat here.

Ppl were nice but the food was absolutely horrible I was excited & ready to eat the food but once we got our plates and started eating we were totally disgusted by everything ! I spent 65$ but like I said we were anticipating greatness and ordered yams dressing cabbage & spaghetti it all was absolutely horrible only thing that was good was the fried chicken the ribs were dry & the perch smelled a little pungent as if on the verge of spoiling... never again!

Its my first time here. Iordered the friday special. 1 catfish filet, 2 wings & 2 sides (dressing & green beans)for $14 everything was soooo very good. Wholesome & soulful.

I live in Indiana and was visiting a friend in Missouri and he said he had driven by the restaurant several times but he had never been there. So we decided to give it a try. It was GREAT... We definitely will go back there...GET THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY...
