Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Great food!!!

We had a great dinner at Olive Garden Monday evening! The food was good, service was good and we were able to enjoy the conversation. The only things that could have made it any better was the chicken could have been cook a little less for the chicken parmigiana ( it was too done, dry, and hard to cut) and more toppings could have been put on the salad in the first serving so we didn’t have to ask for them.

Andrew was an excellent and attentive server. The food was hot and delicious. Drinks were kept full and plates were cleared promptly!

I came here on my birthday with my mom and the service was horrible , I’m saying from the drinks all the way to when we were ready to leave , our server never told us her name we overheard it from the other table she was assigned , our drinks had no alcohol in them and they were full of ice , when we complained nothing was done , I told her about the many things and nothing was done . The server and food was unacceptable & honestly I won’t ever be coming back to this location with the level of rudeness on my birthday …

Showed up an hour before closing and it was no problem. Got right in and served right away. Food was delicious and at a decent price.

This Mother's Day we decided to order carside pick up instead of dining in and I have to say Merrillville Olive Garden has a great system! It was easy, fast, and super convenient after a busy day of yardwork! The food came packed well, hot, and included everything (even the famous after-dinner mints) so we couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience! The portions were generous and they even had someone greet me within a couple minutes of parking in the designated spots. What a wonderful option when you are craving their food but are not up to the dining in! Thank you for a great Mother's Day O.G.!!!

Food has always been good. I love the soup and salad deal! Overall, always a good experience. I'm not sure if short-staffed, but service was slow yet waitress was pleasant and apologized. Italian music was nice and the feel of the restaurant is pleasant.

Staff was impeccably immaculate with my party's order. We were more than delighted to have our Easter family meal here. Thankyou staff for being so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and worth the amount we paid for. 🤩

Came here some time ago after being BSed by a nearby restaurant for a date. Atmosphere was delightful, the food was delicious, and our waitress was a ROCKSTAR. I do not recall her name, but she mentioned she worked her other job that morning and had been on her feet all day, as well as being a newer hire to this establishment. She was insanely attentive and informative, despite how busy I'm sure it had been that day. My date and I tipped her over 50% and she gave us both a HUGE hug as we left.

Ma'am, I don't know if you are still working here after 2 years, but please know you absolutely made our Valentine's Day ❤️

They have gone down hill. Food is not as good
