This place is unbelievably bad. You wonder how a place can be sub 3 on Google reviews, so you go to find out, and yep, it's that bad. I think they have one person there doing everything. It's unreal how slow they are. Everything from taking the order, confirming the order, giving you a total, asking you to pull around, they seem to have a standard operating procedure of waiting 3 minutes between every sentence.

Took about 45 min to get our food. Would have understood if it was really busy but there we not that many people in line. Popeyes food is tasty but this location was not great.

Now I know why all the 1 stars had a online order to be ready by 7pm made the order at 3 they had plenty of time to get it ready came in at at 7:05 and still had to wait another 20 min!!! service sucked food sucked never again poor management and team all need to be re-trained

I loved the all male shift in Merillville Indiana the atmosphere was great they greeted me kindly when I got inside they moved drive thru and the inside miraculously even while using on fryer because one fryer was being filtered my food was hot and fresh and that sweet tea was bussin and most of all it was Clean and not Cluttered

If I could have left a zero i would have left 4. This is one of the worst Popeyes ever. I should have caught the red flag when I pulled up and there were no cars on lunch hour but no I wanted some chicken so as I was walking in I didn't even want to touch the doors they were extra nasty that should have been a sign to leave but nope then came the smell not of fresh chicken being cooked and served but it was that was some spoiled or dirty mop this was all on the outside. Now I am In the establishment and it became even worst there was no one in there as I stood there amd looked around amd saw how dirty the entire restaurant was I stood and waited for 5 minutes before a staff member said man take her order 😳. After I gave my order I was given a cup to get my drink from the nastiest fountain ever so I just left the drink there. After receiving my order I got in my car to head back to work only to find they didn't have my sides in the bag. I will NEVER EVER eat there again. Don't waste your money going here

Just left this place. My order was refused. I ordered an 8 piece box, all thighs. I was rudely told I was being greedy and need to share. Really? Not to mention after seeing the dirty conditions I was likely saved from getting sick. Never again.

Owner reply is not acceptable. I WAS REFUSED SERVICE. What was the true underlining reason why I was REFUSED service? I think I know!!! In anycase, avoid this location. There is no hope of redemption with such a weak reply from the owner.

BTW, traveled to the Valpo location and my order was accepted with cheerful politeness! Huge difference!
