Worst staff service.
We went to their store upon opening, the staff who took our order doesn’t smile and not in her good mood. I want to order soup but she said it’s not yet ready, then my husband want to order mac n cheese but it’s not ready also. They should prepare the meal ahead of time. They don’t deserve tips or perks. Food is okay though.

The ladies that work the front desk and that make your sandwiches are super rude. I’ve been in three times now the first time I ordered online and my order was lost when I got there so I waited 30 minutes for them to make one sandwich the second time I went the lady with the glasses is just super rude and leaves you standing there without even replying to you And then today I went and she again left me standing there not saying anything while my sandwiches were caught in the grill burning away. You guys need new people that actually want to be there and that their jobs.

I placed an order online. Wasn't ready when I walked in. After 15 minutes of waiting I was told that it would be it would be up shortly. 10-15 customers later(that walked in after I had), I decided to jump in line. I was able to place my order and have it made before I received my online order which was the SAME thing!! 30-40 minute wait for an online order is insane. And to make it worse, they're customer service number is a robot. So they're not getting back to you🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ 0/10

I’ve been to multiple other potbelly’s in the region and in IL (navy pier, highland, gurnee) The portion size is always too small comparatively.

I ordered ahead and when I arrived my food wasn’t ready so I went to sit down and every table was filthy. I told the cashier about it and she rolled her eyes and said she would take care of it. Someone came out and wiped the table I was standing next to and went back to stand behind the register. They never attempted to clean any other table and proceeded to spend the next few minutes literally staring into space behind the register. I was so confused; if you’re not busy why wouldn’t you wipe down the other tables too? I wish the food redeemed my visit but the sandwich bread was so burnt and hard I didn’t finish it. Their garbages were overflowing too. If this is how you keep the front of the restaurant I don’t even want to imagine what the back looks like. Oh and my food was ready 10 minutes after the quoted time which was 30 minutes after I ordered it. No apologies or anything.

Worst experience I ever had at a restaurant lousiest customer service. I don’t think you could ever be worse. We placed an order online for two sandwiches went to pick them up and 50 minutes later they still had not even started to make the sandwiches and the interim 10 customers came in after I was waiting for the sandwiches night of which said in the restaurant and ate them and we still didn’t get those sandwiches made was ridiculous, I asked for a refund because we had paid online which I did receive but you lost two customers forever. I’ll never come back.

I was super disappointed by this trip to Potbelly. I ordered in the app. When I arrived, at the scheduled time, my meal wasn't ready. I waited 25 minutes for my order while the staff assisted 15+ people before sending me home with the wrong sandwich. I paid $30+ for a sanwhich with double meat, soup, chips and a drink, and went home short-changed and frustrated.
