Red Nar Mediterranean Grill

Very good food. Very clean. I had the chicken shawarma wrap. They made my side of French fries while I waited so they were really hot. The bathroom was very clean. They also had USB receptacles built into the outlets on the wall which is a great touch for the customers. I will definitely be going back.

Wow!!!! So I’m new to this vegan lifestyle and WOW!! Everything was fresh , great flavor, they even helped me with suggestions. reasonably priced. 10/10!!! I had the falafel bowl with garlic sauce on top. They also have steak, lamb, and chicken!!Very clean atmosphere and great music.

A hidden gem in Merrillville. The falafel is made to order and each dish is vibrant. I recommend asking what goes well together. The chef blends the dishes well without fail. I stop here everyone I'm in the area!

This is my second time here! Food is soo delicious and not heavy! It’s clean affordable food! Highly, highly recommend. I usually get the chicken bowl but my husband said he loved the wrap!! It’s good especially for people that has a love for veggies and true flavors!

Affordable, absolutely delicious food. Wide range of choices for meat eaters and vegetarians, perfect if you are feeling adventurous or if you just want a fresh healthy meal. Delicious salads and cool drinks for hot days and warm protein bowls for cold days. Wonderful service and the owners recommendations for toppings are the best. Over all highly recommend. My mom says they have the best falafel ever.

Do yourself a favor and just stop in and grab some of the most delicious food in the area! The food is authentic and tasty and the service is top notch! Definitely will be back!

We were heading to Jimmy John’s and noticed Red Nar Mediterranean Grill next door. What a great find. So out of the ordinary for a fast food option! They offer wraps, pitas or bowls. I chose a falafel bowl. The start with a bowl add rice, if you like, then add your choice of protein (falafel, steak, chicken, or kabobs), 5 toppings of your choice (feta salad, tabouli salad, baba ghanouj, stuffed grape leaves, chick peas, jalapeños, hummus, etc.), sauces and/or dressings: tahini, garlic, cheddar, etc.). The prices are reasonable the helpings are large. Great flavors, nice change, and economical. The address is in Merrillville, IN, 8160 Mississippi Street.

The customer service and food are equally excellent! Freshly prepared food every time without fail. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone . PLEASE try the falafel . two thumbs up!

Red Nar is exactly the type of place I was hoping to have close to home. My wife and I really love Mediterranean style cooking, so when somewhere new opened up close to us, we got excited to try it. The food was absolutely delicious. My chicken bowl with hummus, rice, jalapeño and more was so delicious that my mouth is watering as I’m typing this review. The man who took our order was extremely friendly and answered any questions my wife and I had. We highly recommend this spot and are going to frequent here more and more!

Tried this place out for the first time tonight. It was so delicious! I got the chicken wrap, my husband got the chicken bowl and we got a kids bowl for our daughter. The chicken shawarma was so tender and flavorful, the rice cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, all of the toppings were fresh and their garlic sauce is drool worthy! Definitely a must try and a great addition to Merrillville for something fresh and fast casual. We will be frequenting Red Nar from now on.

LOVE this little gem across from Kohl’s! It reminds me of a Mediterranean chipotle! However, it’s so much better! Homemade DELICIOUS food, family recipes, & the owners are kind, wonderful people! This is officially in my top 5 favorite restaurants in the Region. I wish tons of blessings on you guys for a successful, long lasting business!
