Food was not fresh and the meat was extremely tough. I ordered fufu and egusi with chicken and I ended up with food poisoning the same day. Literally as soon as I ate it,it came right back up no time to digest! Not sure if she is licensed to cook from home and sell food but I will never purchase from her again! She must have paid for reviews because I give her zero stars if I could. She is selling old food and is most like not following food regulations with the temperatures either. There is no way I would EVER recommend her. She also has a distasteful attitude. Once again she cooks from her apartment building. If you want good and reputable service go to Calumet City Illinois to Abundant Restaurant

I’m so happy to find an African food spot here in Merrillville! The food was good but for us, it was a bit oily and the meats were a little tough. The customer service was amazing and she was understanding. Overall, I will try other stews again!

When the owner of this business called me to tell me that my pick up location was different than the business address listed, I should have known there was going to be a problem. This woman is making food out of her apartment! The goat was so old that you could hardly tear it apart with your hands. The meat in the stew was also old. I gave 2 stars for service because she walked it down the stairs. It is literally her Kitchen in her apartment. Beware!! I threw it all in the trash and went to a reputable place. Do NOT bother to respond either!

I recently visited for the first time, and it was an unforgettable experience! I had the Egusi stew with goat and Pomo, and every bite was a burst of rich, flavorful goodness. The goat was tender and perfectly cooked, and the Pomo added a unique texture that complemented the stew beautifully. My husband also had an amazing dish, and we both agreed it was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The flavors were authentic, and the portions were generous. We left completely satisfied and wishing that this fantastic restaurant was in Indianapolis. If you have the chance to visit, I highly recommend it!
