The food is great! The place was too cold to sit and eat. I ordered the J*** Tips and Chicken. The sides were Cabbage, Red Beans and Rice. Large portions. Cooked to perfection!

Excellent soul food and cajun food. The lunch specials are affordable. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious. Placed a carryout and still had to wait. Always have to make sure you get your cornbread.

Had a family outing at this restaurant the other day. We just came from a home going for my uncle and decided to stop for dinner. When I tell you I’ve never been so embarrassed in all my years. Well today was that day! This is a black owned restaurant and the owner is NOT PROFESSIONAL at all and neither is her staff! There was a staff member waiting on us who obviously had been having issues with other staff. This young lady was terrified and you could tell she had been crying. After we left we were standing outside and heard a lot of yelling on the inside! And low and be hold it was the owner yelling to the top of her lungs at our waitress. You could tell there was some sort of altercation because drinks and food from our table was on the floor and you could hear the cook from the kitchen going in on this girl! A gentlemen from our group went into the kitchen to step in and try to defuse the matter. Bottom line DO NOT spend your money at this place. !!!!!

I wish it were possible to give this place 10 negative stars! I've been here a handful of times over the years whenever I'd drive up this way to visit with my parents. Last year around this time I called to order 4 meals after church and was told that the food would be ready in 40 minutes or so. I got there in 30. Didn't check in right away because there were others in front of me and I figured my food wasn't ready anyway. After about 43 minutes from the time my food had been ordered I went to check in with the hostess (who turns out to be the manager); there was no pleasant greeting; I gave her my name and she looks at me nervously. She NEVER submitted my order! So, I say well I can run a few errands and come back. Please submit my order. I come back 20+ minutes later to find out my order STILL hadn't been submitted (because I walked out angrily, she says she wasn't sure I would actually come back!). Fast forward to a year later on yesterday. I call ahead and place a to-go order for 4 meals. Not only once again was my order not ready, the IGNORANT staff didn't apologize, they began placing blame on one another, the manager REFUSED to come out and speak with me, a server starting crying...THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME, THEY DON'T APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS, THEY'RE UNPROFESSIONAL FROM THE OWNER on down! Save your time, your money, and your sanity! Support another business! This one SUCKS!!!!!

Love their food! absolutely amazing.

The food is good but it does not make up for good customer service..they have messed up my order on to many different occasions..and that's not cool because their food is not cheap and it takes to much time correcting the problem..and calling in your order seems to be a problem because you feel like your bothering them and being rushed off the phone with your order..im not going to spend my money with a company that can't treat me like an individual instead of just wanting my money

I am so happy to have found a Cajun/Creole restaurant near me. Unfortunately on the Saturday I went they were out of several menu items, but what I was eventually able to order was excellent in every way.

Service was terrible.. The lady with the nappy ponytail was very rude to workers and myself.. The food was not fresh at all and they just warmed it up and gave it to after waiting over 20 minutes when I had already ordered over the phone.. NEVER AGAIN
