First time visiting this establishment, and it was exactly what I expected. Nice place for a cheap bite. The staff and servers were inviting and friendly. Took care of all our needs. The food is not 5-star worthy but is not bad either. I got a burger for my main course and potato skins for an appetizer and they were very good. I would definitely revisit this location.

I really enjoyed your establishment, but I haven't been there since Covid...My sister wanted Ribs and we were celebrating her birthday ??. It was a little different than what I expected. All I can say is COVID changed everything. Thank God for your food being very good.

So I visit this place about 6 times per month depending. The food is always good and the service is always great! I was recently disturbed while visiting on this past Thursday evening. It really wasn’t just me, but we observed something that we've never seen before. While entering into the restaurant we walked past several open tables and others were occupied. While we were on our way to the "BACK" of the restaurant we saw every couple that was seated all non-minority. Once we got to our section to be seated the area was only minority customers. Thinking it was all a fluke, we had a Black Server very nice and attentive. No complaints on her end.. However, when leaving the restaurant after a while there were all non-minority customers seated up front. Could it be a coincidence ? am I over thinking? I'm trying to not make more out of it, but that was definitely a problem. #Texascorral #MerrillvilleIndianaParking: Plenty of spaces

Our service was great. My meal was done more than I wanted but did not have a bad taste. My husband's meal was not bad but again a little over done. The ambiance was a nice quiet relaxing atmosphere. We usually do not go to steak houses that much but wanted something different so we would go back sometime in the future.

That's a well earned single star. The ambience was great. Not loud at all at about 2pm on a Friday. The warm rolls and cinnamon butter were excellent. Even though it looked like only two employees were on duty the service was very good. The problem, depriving Texas Corral of the other four stars, was their food. My Smothered Steak sandwich and Steak Fries for example. The meat was a healthy half inch thick I'd guess. Good for a sandwich (that is not a Philly cheese steak). But the flavor. Oh, that flavor that stayed with me, unfortunately for the rest of the day. It wasn't pleasant. Not horrible, it was edible with effort. Just a flavor I hope I never experience again. It stayed with me long enough as the steak itself had several of those stringy white line things that you can't chew or bite apart. You know, the ones you finally have to pull out of your mouth with your fingers. The Steak Fries carried the meat flavor over to them. They were eaten, very unenthusiastically. The other diners Chicken Sandwich was, unfortunately for her and my credit card, not edible. The tween couldn't eat his Waffle Fries. The stomachs of us two elders showed us their displeasure the rest of the day. We won't be back to any of this chains' restaurants.

Well, being my first time to experience what can I say, my meal was absolutely delicious for the plate I ordered while I had small talk even ate what I took home. Service wasn't a problem at all, the server for the night was a helpful young lady deserving of a tip I must say absolutely helping and understanding. I understand that everybody wants privacy so I can't even complain much.
