So here's the deal... If you are ever out this way, you have to stop at Lakeshore Coffee! We make the stop every time we visit the dunes! Great friendly staff, excellent coffee, and excellent pastries! And, there is absolutely nothing better than sitting outside, enjoying your coffee, and enjoying the lake breeze... I can't say enough about this place!!!

We passed through town on our way to the National Park and stopped for a lunch and coffee to-go. The chicken sandwich and lox bagels were great! The thing we really can’t stop thinking about though is the “HOTTOGO” special pumpkin chai drink. We wish this was a chain so we could keep ordering this drink!

Horrible food… good coffee. I ordered the of toast when they had sourdough, didn’t ask me what I wanted it on and then it comes with just slab of spread and no flavor. Also way overpriced

Been coming here since I was a kid!! A Michigan City staple! nothing but good things to say about this local business.
We stopped by before heading to the outlets and are glad we did! We ordered iced white mochas and the bacon/cheddar sandwich and they were both fantastic, I especially enjoyed the chipotle sauce on our sandwich! Others in our group got an assortment of drinks and food and everyone enjoyed their choices! There’s a lot of seating options between outdoors, the main level, and then upstairs (where we sat). Even with the wait for food, it came quickly and fresh & staff was very nice. Definitely a must stop spot for coffee and breakfast when in town.

Nice Cafe/Coffee shop. Stopped off this morning for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Coffee was well made and the breakfast sandwich was hot and tasty (and it came with a bonus banana). Service was great even though there was only one person there to wait on people, as well as make the coffee and food.

I always struggle to find quick, healthy options when traveling, but this place hit the mark! Great, fresh-made sandwiches that offer fruit as a side. Excellent drinks. Friendly customer service. Very clean and well-kept place. If I lived closer, I'd find it hard not to visit every day.
