I don't go very often, but when I do go. There's always a different cashier. The man that run that restaurant.I'm not sure what their nationality is.But you would think they would learn a little bit of english other than can I take your order and hello

Got food poisoning from there bbq chicken bone in. I can’t even think of the food or I will barf. Disgusting. Never get.

Frying the chicken for too long. Its difficult to bite. Pull the chicken up a little early let it have a light brown color not too dark next time.

I never make reviews but I went to go pick up an order for my daughter and cashier was very slow, also was a kid. He kept staring at me with his glasses like he didint know how to count change. Food was good tho but service not so much.

Catfish was not catfish Mushy consistency like it was frozen and they defrosted it So sad I have to drive out of Michigan city to get fresh fish and chicken just ridiculous for the amount of money I spend

This is my go to place for catfish. They have a hot sauce to die for, and the fish is fatty and delicious!

Edit: I’ve changed my review because the last couple of times I went they are charging the same price for smaller portions. I’m not sure if they’ve just been getting smaller catfish. Either way you would think if they get smaller fish they’d give you more pieces , especially at the prices they charge.

Hopefully something changes soon.

Wasn't sure if it would taste like food from the Chi, but food was hot, fresh, and delicious. 10/10 highly recommend

All the food is cooked to order. So be prepared to wait a bit, but it will be fresh. I've never had bad service here and the food is good. There's a small dining area to eat in, but it's primarily a take out place. A lot of the food is seasoned with lemon pepper seasoning, so if you don't like that, ask for it without and they'll happily do so.
