They have an all you can eat buffet for $20. I recommend it. The view of Lake Michigan is unobstructed with a clear view of the whole beach and lighthouse. They also have low cost items with a burger for $10. You feel like you're at a resort for half the costs.

Interesting. I visited this place years ago and it was beautiful. This time not so much. I paid $20 per person for a scarce buffet. There was flying ants or something on everything which was so distracting and annoying. The food was terrible. The menu they gave us had kids food, appetizers and drinks. The burrito was ok and the carrot cake had hair on top of three of them. Service was not too good but they were busy with a private party so they were stressed and making mistakes. My wine had three gnats floating on top and I was given the wrong check and card after paying. The people around us were very judgemental making us uncomfortable. It was my best friends first time there because I told her how nice it was and it was a terrible one. I felt so bad for talking it up just to be disappointed. We were looking forward to eating but ended up spending more money for something else. It's fine for events or drinks but nothing else. Establishment and location is nice due to the beach. I won't go back.

This place does not seem very welcoming towards POC (people of color) or other minority groups . Very poor customer service and distasteful service from the bartender. I would not recommend this place to anyone of color . Just a heads up to avoid the frustration and discrimination when there’s plenty of other great options in the area.

Great place to relax with a drink on the shores of Lake Michigan and watch the sunset. Not a lot of food options, but they did have a buffet, but we didn't partake.

Great rooftop with shaded area and couches. Perfect for sunset. Wheelchair accessible. Not much food choices unfortunately and there was hardly any alcohol in the pinacolada. Parking in park is outrageously expensive. Please, for the planet STOP USING PLASTIC!! Use real glasses!!

My husband and I stumbled into Sunset Grille after ride out to the beach. The staff was amazing and so was the food! They have a concession stand on the first floor facing the beach as well as a full bar and restaurant upstairs. The concession closes at 3pm and the restaurant opens at 4pm. We tried both. At the restaurant as I ate my grilled pork chop from their optional buffet while looking out over Lake Michigan, I got to watch their team be creative. Some popsicles had melted in the heat, but rather than be upset they made Bombpop Margaritas 😁. This won’t be the last time we go there…even if it’s simply to chat with the friendly staff.

We showed up expecting steak and ribs at a buffet. First I was charged for an extra adult they had to reverse. Then there was no steak. Ran out of ribs before I got any. Ran out of mashed before we got any. Ran out of mac n cheese…. We got a rag tag meal of roast beef, tater tots and beans. None of these items were on the buffet menu. Later a server came to our table and asked us what we were drinking. She returned with our drinks and charged us again for the drinks. We weren’t even informed there was another charge. Will not return and I hope no one else does.

I stopped in for a quick bite while we are the beach. Service was quick and easy, and no wait. This was about 1145AM on a Saturday.

Prices were par the course, with no complaints because, guess what? You don't have to leave the beach. Perfect.

I got a Chicago dog. It was pretty darn near perfect. These are my favorite types of hotdogs, and this didn't disappoint. They hit all the highlights from the celery salt, the poppy seed bun, sport peppers, and of course, the green relish. I was a happy camper.

Overall, prices and service were good, facilities were clean, zero complaints.

Went for the buffet with our large group! Had a great time! The musician was a doll and played T-swift for my daughter. It made her day. The owner was amazing and friendly and you could tell he really cares. Our waitress was obviously new. I liked the food. The view and breeze coming off the lake with the love music was so relaxing....until it randomly started POURING rain out of no where! Definitely an experience we won't forget! Would definitely spend time here more if we were local.

Waited over 30min for a beer and 1 drink, the drink was awful the cup was full of ice, got maybe 2 sips out of it. They need a food menu with more options, staff are very unorganized.
