The Brewery Lodge & Supper Club

This is not your typical brewpub. The atmosphere is cozy amd charming. The staff are attentive and friendly. The menu is elevated with pastas, fish and amazing meat dishes. On our recent visit we had the beet salad, salmon, crab cakes, and pasta with shrimp. Wines by the glass offer many options to pair with food. Dining here is always a lovely experience.

The food was fabulous! Also the staff was amazing especially with helping me with my proposal!

At the bar, there was a group of people who were really drunk and very loud; people were asking to move because of them. The staff tried to quiet them down but it did not help. My wife and i were on a date and it ruined the whole night for us.

Occasionally, restaurants that are attached to small Inns fall short on the food execution. This is not the case here. Both the Inn and the restaurant are worthy as standalone experiences.

The rooms are great, clean, and feel like home with all the amenities you need. The two rooms I’ve stayed in had their own personal touches to make them uniquely different without losing any comfort.
The staff are all so amazing and personable, starting with the manager. She goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and feel like you’re at home, and they all remember who you are.
The restaurant has amazing drinks and food, and local craft brewer Zorn’s beer is the best. The menu has a good selection, plus they have rotating specials and a good selection of rotating desserts. My favorite is the cheesecake with a choice of toppings. I haven’t had a bad thing on it and have eaten something different every night I’ve stayed here.
Lastly, the place is in the best setting and truly makes you feel like you’re in a cozy cottage in the woods because it’s so secluded and quiet. Stayed here twice now and will never stay anyplace else when in Michigan City.

Dinner was phenomenal. My wife enjoyed Cavatappi Alfredo with a perfectly cooked steak, and I had the ribeye — both were flawless. Asparagus and potatoes were spot on, and the pimento cheese bread board was a standout. Service was attentive and made us feel like royalty.

Our king room was equally impressive: spotless bathroom, medium-firm bed with plush pillows, and—rare for most hotels—an incredibly comfortable sofa. Great views and a peaceful night’s sleep with no highway noise inside the room.

The on-property hiking trail was a nice bonus, though you may hear some city sounds outdoors. Inside, however, it was silent and serene.

All in all, this is a must-visit for a romantic dinner and overnight stay. We’ll definitely be back.

The brewery lodge is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and huge the property is lovely and the restaurant is unbelievable. We were really sad we only got to stay one night. I wish I had planned to stay there all 3 nights of our trip. I cannot believe more people do not know about this place. Cannot wait to come back.

Overall 4.9 out of 5 stars!! Beautiful place with fun restaurant and trails around the property. Great location as well! The rooms could be a little more updated but we really enjoyed our stay!

Went there for our anniversary. We brought our 21 yr old with us.

My wife and I love, The Brewery Lodge. It’s quiet, secluded and friendly! We try to stay there whenever we are near by.

Comfortable, embedded restaurant, in a Grove… isolated from the chaos
