Wife and I scoped out the place a week before we were scheduled to stay a night. We appreciate the staff, but saw a worker quit/walkout. Then we found out the spa is no longer functioning, and the supper club was closed dueto short staffing the Sunday we were supposed to stay, so we canceled our reservation.
No spa, no supper club on Sundays. Be warned. Oh, and the hall to the rooms smelled musty.
Been here for dinner a few times. Food out of this world good. Service very attentive. Price isn't cheap, but I think it is a very good value. Zorn brewing is part of this restaurant and they have a small selection of their beers. I start with a Bombay Sapphire martini then French onion soup, a lager then the porterhouse. No rush, met friends there and talked and drank for an hour after the meal. Cozy date place like and English pub.
LOVE how quiet and quaint this place is!!! It’s centrally located around a lot of wonderful towns and breweries. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were very kind and attentive, the food was amazing, we’re excited to go back!!!
Saw the sign on the side of the road and decided to give the food a try. Food was excellent and everything was cooked the way we asked for it. I had the cavatopi alfredo with the sirloin which i asked for rare and the meat was so tender it litteraly melted in your mouth. And the whipped feta was very rich and creamy as well. And the pork chops were excellent as well, just as tender with a rich burbon sauce. Server was very friendly and attentive.
Charming place for a short stay. Restaurant was cozy and good food.
Do yourself a favor and order the pork chops, you won’t regret it!
