The roast beef was excellent. My husband said it is like they removed all the fat before serving it, and the portion was huge. Chicken strips, onion rings and pizza were very good too. Not greasy at all. Yummy pies. Reasonable prices.
Best home style pie(s) in the area!
Best home cooked breakfast in town!
So good. Best burger I aver had. Nice and friendly people.
Always good food and friendly service
Great pies
Good food
Will be going back.
Very good food and nice staff. Especially Kathy and Miss Mary!
Village Inn has the appearance of a small town diner. It is worthwhile to look at their daily special board to see what pies are available that day. Memorable meals include ham loaf with mashed potatoes and various pies. Some of their workers are Amish. I have ordered whole pies for holidays from them in the past, as well, and they were fine.
Good place to refuel and chill
Always pleasant to go there. Had stayed away for a while but returned. Food and pricing great.

Found this cute little diner while looking for a restaurant. We walked in near closing time on October 24, 2024. The wait staff was very kind. They provided exceptional service, and told us to take our time eating. The food was delicious!! No complaints only complements. We are from Michigan. Visiting the area to attend a concert in Shipshewana.
Parking: I parked on the street. Not difficult at all.
Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is not.

There were 7 tables in the place when we walked in. Took waitress who was busy eating 5min to come take our order. After 25 min we asked where our food was And she told us there were a few tickets in front of ours. 😳What?? We ordered Biscuits and gravy?! Unacceptable. She used the 'two groups' that were eating as an excuse... there were 4 people in said 'groups'. Someone needs a lesson on how to run a restaurant
