The Hilltop Restaurant Reviews
I have eaten there a few times, it's ok. Had a two-piece chicken dinner the chicken looked like it was malnourished or maybe a fat pigeon. Had the strawberry pie it was a Jello type pie which I didn't care for.
Great food! Great service!
Stopped in on a whim this morning as we traveled home from a weekend in Middlebury, I’m so glad we did! Food was amazing! The staff was absolutely wonderful! An absolute pleasure to meet them all. We will definitely be back. ❤️

The Hilltop Restaurant offers excellent food, generous portions, and great service with a smile. The dining room is cozy and intimate, serving delicious dishes like cod with fried mushrooms and hash-browns, fried chicken sandwiches, and unique options like fried mush. Guests have praised the amazing food and friendly service, although it can get busy and noisy when the tables are full, adding to the lively atmosphere. The staff is informative and pleasant, making it a wonderful spot for a delicious meal at a reasonable price. Visitors have also highlighted the cleanliness of the facilities, emphasizing a well-maintained environment. Special dishes like raspberry stuffed French toast and egg bake have received high praise. The restaurant, previously located at the top of a hill, has been reestablished at the bottom of the hill in downtown Middlebury after a fire. It is a quaint little restaurant that many agree is the best place to eat, especially compared to larger restaurants.
