Charming old school supper club atmosphere. Stopped in for cocktails after having dinner elsewhere & sat at the bar. Guy next to me had the the fried chicken dinner & said it's the best in the area. Looking forward to goin back for the full dinner experience!
great place with home made soups and fantastic sandwiches

Completely overrated. And I don't understand why these places open so late in the day, just like Heinnies in Elkhart.

Came here for my birthday dinner tonight and had such an amazing time!! The atmosphere was exactly what I prefer: casual, laid back, friendly, and delicious. Every staff member we interacted with was so pleasant and attentive, and the bar had yummy drinks. All four of us ordered different foods, including steak, frog legs, fish, a burger, chicken, and then a pie for dessert. Our favorites were the Boom Boom Shrimp, the fried Mushrooms and the Frog Legs! Everything was delicious, we left with a full stomach and an inexpensive bill :) we will be back!

Should have left before ordering. Told myself it can't be that bad. I was wrong. The waitress brought out cheese and crackers (in a plastic basket...Lance's crackers in their wrapper and a glob of some sort of orange cheese spread in a tiny plastic condiment cup). The Fuzzy Naval was bland and had more ice than booze. My husband's walleye still had the skin on it.... yuck! My fries were bland and were run of the mill. The onion rings were okay but nothing special. At least the night was not a total waste...I learned where NOT to go again.
A lovely family restaurant where patrons sit at the bar and talk amongst friends. In town for work and after dodging the chance for food poisoning from another seafood restaurant, we decided to visit the Blu Lantern. Vicki was our waitress and she was beyond nice and continued to check on us. Food was delicious. We ordered the Beef Manhattan and Chopped steak. So good. Ended with a Chocolate cream pie. Each delish was delicious!! Will definitely be back.

The service was basic. They have a full bar but no drink menu...that was annoying. The waitress was nice but she wasn't very informative and we explained it was our first time there. She didn't explain what comes with dinner as she was explaining the specials. The prices weren't bad. The amount of food you got was definitely worth the price. It was quiet there that was nice. Not a lot of interruptions while having a conversation. That was nice. We dined in.

A very homey feeling when you walk in....the staff is very welcoming, we were seated immediately. I had the mushroom burger, rib eyed steak and Philly cheese steak sandwich...it was very very fulfilling and delicious. I will be back for more.

Always wanted to try this place and I'm glad I went! Food was amazing! Quiet atmosphere made it nice and we enjoyed it. A little dim in there and it could use an update but I was too busy enjoying my dinner to care!

Really good food with large portions. The beef stroganoff was delicious. Really tender beef. Good prices and friendly service, too. Loved this place.

Decent food and service. Old fashioned, you get a cup of soup and salad with every meal. Since Larry has passed it's not quite the same, however his son is doing what he can to keep up. Will visit again.

Overpriced for what it is. "Steak and seafood" but seafood is limited and all fried. Menu was small. Food was incredibly bland. If you enjoy nursing home food you might like it I guess. Everything was edible but nothing tasted good.Update: Went back, forgetting I had visited before until I found my old review. They do have walleye now they offer sauteed or fried. Somehow it was fishy and walleye shouldn't be fishy. The croutons were extremely and oddly greasy. Everything was still bland. Devoid of seasoning and menu is still aimed at senior citizens.
Food is decent. Except for the meatloaf. It tasted like it had vinegar in it.
