“We arrived early and we were able to be seated, but sounds like you should really get reservations. Staff was really friendly, explained our menu questions very well and appetizers, food/drinks came out surprisingly very quickly. Everything tasted hot, and fresh, drinks were well made and even my husband was especially pleased with the corn tortillas -they didn't fall apart and crumble. We had 4 adults and 4 kids in our group, kids were not looked at as a bother or inconvenience and I didn't get a weird look when I asked for ketchup (for the kids).”

The only minor complaints were the croutons on the salad were very salty and the shrimp (all of them) were slightly overcooked. (Not unusual in the midwest) Although we told her not to, the manager took them off the bill. Our server, Lorenzo, was very attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a very good evening. The Chandon champagne splits were VERY reasonable.”

The crispy exterior and flavorful filling were nothing short of amazing. For the main course, I opted for the filet mignon hibachi, accompanied by fried rice, salad, and clear soup. I also had a side of noodles. The filet was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The fried rice and vegetables were equally impressive, each bite full of flavor. The noodles were a comforting addition, complementing the meal beautifully. It would have been nice to have a large option instead of just one size. I could imagine being hungrier.

However, the biggest flag is that it took 35 minutes for the bowl to come out-- despite walking in at 5pm for dinner, trying to avoid the rush. The two times I've been here, there has only been one man taking care of the front: taking orders, serving, and cleaning. Even though he tries his best, he's just always busy, so I hope they hire a part timer.”

I took my Dolset bowls in with me hoping perhaps I might get some as to seasoning my bowls, ( I had done it incorrectly ). Not only did the owner literally take my bowls and season them for me, she also taught me how to best cook in them, and if all that kindness wasn't enough she gave me a lid as my bowls did not come with any.Ever time we go we learn more about etiquette customs and Korean food.The owner is always sweet enough to smile and correct me nicely when I use a Korean phrase incorrectly. They also have Korean BBQ tables which makes for a great evening out cooking and laughing with friends. I hope you try this restaurant, yummy food and wonderful people. Michele F”

While waiting Susie talked with us the whole time about herself, her family,! her hard-working husband and difficult times during COVID. We were offered drinks while waiting for our takeout. The staff was friendly and helpful, The atmosphere was warm and cozy just like you'd expect! Susie let me know they don't use any processed foods, and everything is homemade! It's a whole different linguistic register from how we used to order them when I worked at Starbucks in South Florida back in the 90s 🌴🥥🌊🍊 and when we opened the first Starbucks in Spain in the early 2000s at Atocha-Renfe 🇪🇸. Miss Trina and I also had a great conversation about the new Samsung Galaxy Z-Fold 3 🤳. Miss Beau was also great -- she made sure I had a carrier and some green spill guards for each of the drinks. And Miss Nuha was exceptionally kind and helpful, and she made some award-worthy coffee drinks for us. ¡Alucinante 💫! “Their peanut butter banana with chocolate added smoothie is so refreshing! That has always kept us returning. I will say though after reading some of the other reviews, this visit I paid attention and they really don't do a good job cleaning out the blenders. They were all just setting around with previous smoothie sitting in them. The service is impersonal and rushed. It's sad because we've always liked the smoothie but now it'll be more difficult to see past some negatives.”

“An employee deliberately made my drink with extra ice when i asked for light ice, i got it remade but i could lowkey taste the hate. I’m not upset anymore but it was a little annoying considering the employee did choose to put an ungodly amount of ice in my drink. Other employees were wonderful and very nice. I understand working at starbucks is a struggle when people are being rude, but I was extremely kind through the whole ordering process.”
