“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Corndance Tavern last night, it was our first time here and we are so happy we chose this restaurant to celebrate. We loved the atmosphere very moody and relaxing. The food was next level, from the appetizers to the drinks all the way to the desert! I wish I remembered our waitress’s name but she was very attentive and knowledgeable. We are already planning our next time here”

“This place is not quite the 5 stars that some are giving it, but it’s good, for sure. The giant mozz sticks are giant, but I thought they were a bit lacking in the flavor department, and I could not eat my food after that because it was so much cheese. the marinara was good though. I had shrimp tacos by recommendation, and they were quite underwhelming in the flavor department as well, but they had a fantastic variety of textures going on. The shrimp breading was tasteless. The Mac and cheese was epic, and so were the fried beans, but the grilled cheese was also a bit underwhelming. We also waited 30 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us, but he did l apologize profusely for not realizing that we were one of his tables, so we weren’t upset.”

“Wanted to try something new, Zing was a random pick and we couldn't have been happier. Food was delicious, staff was super friendly and helpful. Best Ramen broth I have had outside of more famous bigger city spots. Tried multiple entree's and app's along with a sushi roll, all were spectacular.”

“My wife and I had dinner there to celebrate our 63rd anniversary. She had the steak and shrimp while I had the shrimp duo (grilled and fried shrimp). The only minor complaints were the croutons on the salad were very salty and the shrimp (all of them) were slightly overcooked. (Not unusual in the midwest) Although we told her not to, the manager took them off the bill. Our server, Lorenzo, was very attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a very good evening. The Chandon champagne splits were VERY reasonable.”

“I happened upon this wonderful restaurant as I was leaving town. The parking lot seemed full for 1pm in the afternoon on a Friday. My initial thought was that this place has to be good. Wow! Was that thought understated! I chose the Meatballs Al Forno as an appetizer. Note: The small order has 6 small meatballs and the large order has 12. Each one of them were bursting with flavor! Each time cut into one, I would make sure to get a little bit of the cheese, some sauce and a corner of the accompanying toasted garlic bread. Every time, it was the perfect bite. Then came the entree. I chose the Salmon Limone, a grilled fillet of salmon on a bed of shrimp ravioli with Roma tomatoes in a wine and lemon dill butter sauce. The shrimp ravioli melted in my mouth. The fish was wonderfully prepared! It was tender, moist, and seasoned to perfection! The service was impeccable! Lauren, the bartender, was pleasant, professional, personable, and attentive. It was easy to recognize that she enjoys her profession. Thank you to all of the people at Papa Vino’s for making your magic happen.”

They have had a consistent line for our entire visit and I am sure for hours beforehand. “I want to say that, even though I gave this four stars, there’s really nothing bad or wrong with this restaurant. It’s just that we live in an area where there is so much good Mexican food that it felt a little disingenuous to give it five stars.

This is a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat. The service was very fast and our server was very nice. I ordered the smothered chipotle chicken burrito, which I really liked and I only finished half of because the serving sizes are quite large. My other dining partners actually split the fajitas between each other and they had no complaints.

This wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice of Mexican restaurant, but if I was in the area, I certainly wouldn’t say that I don’t want to go here.”

He made sure we left as happy or if not more HAPPY than what we entered. He always checked on us, and he made sure we had a good deal when ordering. I took my Dolset bowls in with me hoping perhaps I might get some as to seasoning my bowls, ( I had done it incorrectly ). Not only did the owner literally take my bowls and season them for me, she also taught me how to best cook in them, and if all that kindness wasn't enough she gave me a lid as my bowls did not come with any.Ever time we go we learn more about etiquette customs and Korean food.The owner is always sweet enough to smile and correct me nicely when I use a Korean phrase incorrectly. They also have Korean BBQ tables which makes for a great evening out cooking and laughing with friends. I hope you try this restaurant, yummy food and wonderful people. Michele F”

“I recently revisited Monterrey Mexican Grill after several years, and it was just as fantastic as I remembered! The restaurant has been remodeled, and I love the new ambiance – it’s warm, inviting, and perfect for a night out.

One standout was the strawberry jalapeño margarita – absolutely delicious! The balance of sweet and spicy was spot on. Our server was very friendly and welcoming, though she could have been a bit more attentive. That said, she was clearly busy with other tables, so it was totally understandable.

Overall, this place remains a favorite, and I’m not sure why I don’t visit more often! Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and drinks in a cozy setting.”

The two times I've been here, there has only been one man taking care of the front: taking orders, serving, and cleaning. Even though he tries his best, he's just always busy, so I hope they hire a part timer.”
