“Roselily is a small restaurant with carefully curated dishes and a fun, inviting atmosphere. The entrance feels almost like stepping into one of the scenes from Alice in Wonderland, so you already know you are about to have a different kind of dining experience.

They do not accept walk-ins, so make sure to make a reservation in advance, for groups no larger than 8 people.

We visited for a degustation, and our menu included nori cigar, beets, chicken, agnolotti, pork belly, wagyu, portokalopita, and mignardise. Every dish was spectacular.

I particularly enjoyed the beet dish. The combination of fresh flavors and different vegetables was refreshing and very well balanced. For me, the jewel of the night was the agnolotti. It is served with onion broth, local mushrooms, sunchoke, olives, and feta. I usually dislike the flavor of cooked onions, but this dish completely changed my mind. The combination was outstanding and surprisingly delicious.

The mignardise, a selection of bite-sized sweets, was another favorite. I loved the contrast between the mango and chocolate flavors and how they came together in such a small dessert.

I also appreciated how the server explained the dishes and their ingredients. They invite you to taste the dishes with a specific strategy to fully appreciate the flavors. Sometimes they share stories about how a dish was created or fun details about where particular ingredients come from. Those details made the experience even more interesting!!

The drinks are worth trying too. We enjoyed the fresh lemonade and coffee.

Roselily is definitely on the pricier side, and the portions are very small, more in the gourmet tasting style. Still, the overall experience is absolutely worth it. I would fully recommend visiting if you want to try something different and explore food in a more creative way.

There is a parking lot available, including accessible parking.

“I would recommend Ironhand for some events but I don’t think they plan for some things. We went to their brunch and bingo this morning which was nice. The food was good and we always love the atmosphere. I was really looking forward to trying the flight of mimosas. It started at 10, we arrived at 10:15 and by 10:25 they told us they were out of flights. There were still at least 5 tables and more bar seats open. Then 20 minutes later we saw people getting mimosa flights. I ended up ordering the mimosa bar which was too much champagne for me and they gave a very small carafe of orange juice. (Barely enough for 2-3 drinks) If you are having a brunch you should plan accordingly. I will be back but I hope things like this get figured out.”

“My family traveled from Chicago to South Bend this weekend to pick up our service dog for my 5 year-old Autistic son. While the experience was amazing, my son struggled a bit with the trip, as he is very much a person of habit! He woke up Sunday morning asking for a cheeseburger. We scrambled to figure out where we could possibly get a cheeseburger at 8am, and we were excited to see a Burger King near our hotel. We packed up 4 kids and a service dog and headed over. We were quickly and kindly informed that lunch was not served until 11. I told the cashier I had an autistic kiddo in desperate need of a cheeseburger, and asked if she knew anywhere in the area I could get one. Another employee heard my situation and with no hesitation, swooped in said she will make him a cheeseburger. This woman went completely out of her way to help my son. She had a burger cooked and ready to go in minutes. She refused my money as I went to pay for it. When I thanked her profusely, she put her hand over her heart and told me so sincerely, “She understands”. Thank you to this wonderful woman for her kindness and compassion!”

“Stopped by the morning of 12/9/23 for a quick drive through breakfast and I have to say it was the most positive drive through experience I have ever had. I was 4 or 5 cars back in line and I don’t think I was in line for more than a couple minutes. Sandwich and coffee were great and the staff were extremely friendly, professional and efficient. This will undoubtedly be a Saturday morning staple for me on my way to work. Thank you and keep up the great work!”

“Extremely fun and cute place! Staff is super friendly, great snacks and drinks, shirts and cute things to buy up front, plus a whole room to pet kitties in back with a nice seating area. The adoptable cats are very well socialized by Cafe guests for their future loving homes. Great place to visit for families. Our teenagers were even excited to visit and look forward to coming back.”

“Visiting South Bend and this place was across the street from my hotel so I decided to try it. While standing there looking at the menu and trying to two decide what to get another customer told me I should try the ribs. So I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and they were absolutely amazing! The sauce was delicious and the meat was just falling off the bone. They came with fries coleslaw and French bread as well and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend. I would like to go back and try some other menu items.”

Should probably stop drinking while trying to be a server. I’ve been a server for several years and the way this man talked to all his tables and his coworker were just INSANE.
We walked in and before sitting us pulled the host and said “maybe just tell people 5 minutes…” had us stand there and then eventually sat us. So we anticipated a little bit of a wait but we were willing because Zaya really wanted Applebees.
The amount of time I heard him complain about how he was the only person working there and they had no silverware but continued to just see people walk round.
So, we get our drinks and then we order our food. I ordered an appetizer and a meal and then I asked for a ranch and this man is going to say “no, my pen almost ran outta ink taking your order already” uhm, excuse me…… so we moved on, I hear him talking to the elderly couple next to us and asked if they wanted anything and they just said the check, it took him 10 minutes to get the check and then he didn’t apply the military ain’t took him another 10 minutes..
Went to go get me another root beer and implied Diet Coke instead and just basically kept digging about my order and honestly making me feel VERY uncomfortable.
So now we have eaten our food, kitchen didn’t do as bad as our server so now we are full and ready to go and where is our server you ask? Outside smoking weed. Had two tables in his section walk out without getting served because no one had greeted them or said hello.
So overall… I know it’s just another post complaining, and it might not make sense to yall but you had to be here… it was absolutely appalling. Applebees on Ireland please do better. Applebees in general just do better on who you hire because the ones around here…. Rough.”

Nancy, the Owner, was our waitress, and she was fun and attentive and made my Brunch Birthday a very special memory! The food was great! We called and a young gentleman who was very new was kind and asked me to wait for someone to give me clarification on how to handle the situation.

I want these workers to know I appreciate their patience, calmness and understanding.

We brought it back, this being about 30 minutes because 15 minutes drive home, 15 minutes to drive back and (told to bring bag back up).

Manager (possibly on duty not sure if he was the manager) seemed like he didn’t want to replace order, but he did.

I don’t like bringing food back, or complaining. It’s not who I am nor do I enjoy bringing things to people’s attention.

I give 4 stars- I appreciate you replacing the order not just the missing items. I never in any way want to be an inconvenience or seem like a swindler because IM NOT.
