“The atmosphere in Roselily is delightful and gives the feel of luxury. The bar area when you walk in is quite unique as well. The artwork throughout was eclectic and fun. The food was delicious and the menu well thought out. The staff, however, were among the best part of the dining experience. Shellee was attentive, knowledgeable, and included some fun banter throughout the meal.
We dined during restaurant week so the menu was a tasting menu only (with 3 other shareable dishes you could purchase separately) at a reduced price from their typical tasting menu. It was our first time there and there is a 100% chance we will be back! Roselily is a great fine dining option in South Bend

The fries were well seasoned and the sandwich was top notch with lots of flavor. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The woman that served us was very friendly and attentive. The food here is routinely spectacular, a testament to the skill and diligence of the two cooks who have been with Ironhand since the beginning. This bar has LOTS of regulars; its Wine Club membership numbers well over 160 people. That says something about the quality of atmosphere that Ironhand’s owners and hardworking staff have cultivated for the last 7 years. If it’s not already a monthly or even weekly spot you visit, it should be.”

I counted five fiddles, six wind instruments and string instrument I did not recognize and two of the Irish drums held on the left hand. Quite the blast. Only thing that would have improved the place was a decent IPA, but I'm from Seattle so spoiled in that regard.”

“My family traveled from Chicago to South Bend this weekend to pick up our service dog for my 5 year-old Autistic son. While the experience was amazing, my son struggled a bit with the trip, as he is very much a person of habit! He woke up Sunday morning asking for a cheeseburger. We scrambled to figure out where we could possibly get a cheeseburger at 8am, and we were excited to see a Burger King near our hotel. We packed up 4 kids and a service dog and headed over. We were quickly and kindly informed that lunch was not served until 11. I told the cashier I had an autistic kiddo in desperate need of a cheeseburger, and asked if she knew anywhere in the area I could get one. Another employee heard my situation and with no hesitation, swooped in said she will make him a cheeseburger. This woman went completely out of her way to help my son. She had a burger cooked and ready to go in minutes. She refused my money as I went to pay for it. When I thanked her profusely, she put her hand over her heart and told me so sincerely, “She understands”. Thank you to this wonderful woman for her kindness and compassion!”

“Best Italian in SB, hands down. Closer to actual Italian than the American-homestyle Italian places we have here in SB. They’ve opened the restaurant back up and take walk-ins but reservations are always great. They always have great specials that the waiters will guide you through, as well as a solid wine list for those who partake. I’ve been to Ciao’s quite a few times, but this latest time was just too good not to share. The bruschetta is a mainstay on the menu and is worth ordering. They give you free bread for the table and we got the spicy mussels to start - they were wonderfully fresh with a calm heat in the tomato sauce, would definitely order again. We ordered the special lamb plate and the scallops; both of us were basking in how divine both plates were! They even gave us more bread to sop up the leftover sauce. The owner who often comes and chats to everyone in the dining room is a true delight and remembers familiar faces; she works hard to make sure you have a smile on your face while you enjoy the food. I love Ciao’s and am so happy they have the dining room open!”

“had the munchies last night but felt lazy so i ordered burger king and bro. let me tell you my experience with this location. to start off, i ordered a whopper with cheese and no tomato, a large size of “have-sies”, 8pc chicken fries, and 8pc mozzarella sticks. i was given an amazing amount of onion rings and fries. normally there is always space left in the containers, which makes sense because nobody wants to make a mess from overloading the cup but mine was filled perfectly and the fries were so crispy!!!! the onion rings had a very satisfying crunch and i was literally ascending from how good they were. but the burger.. no words can describe how delicious that whopper was. i dont know who prepared it but they need a raise! taking a bite from my whopper and then taking bites of my various sides made my friday night a very pleasant experience. i will 100% start eating burger king whenever the munchies come to town bc this order literally changed my life, no cap. i ❤️ burger king THANK YOU BURGER KING FRIENDS”

“Great contemporary modern style bar/lounge in the heart of Downtown South Bend. The interesting light fixtures and chill vibe make this a fun place to hangout and order a few drinks. There are board games you can play as well as a pool table and if you are lucky you can catch some live music. My wife and I love this place and as a bonus you can catch a live comedy show right in the same building. The only thing keeping this place from five stars are the prices as it's a hotel bar which means inflated prices and unfortunately as good as the food looks I cannot leave a review because I have not tried the food. They have four beer choices on tap usually with one eccentric flavor when we went it was Mango Wheat (Delicious by the way) and the bar tenders were very friendly with quick service, I highly recommend you check this place out!!”

“Great upmarket burger spot near Notre Dame. We ate here twice during our visit to campus. Good food and easy to access. It's on Eddy Street just a few doors down from the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore. There is a parking garage nearby with free two-hour parking. Burgers are all great, though if you don't want to rare a hamburger, ask for it medium well. I personally enjoyed the Burger Snack ... it's a smaller burger and just the right amount for lunch.”

“We are religious goers to LKT, we come for trivia almost every week. I understand that may be a busy time, but honestly every week we are kind of appalled at the service. Everyone is so friendly, but they don't come by quickly or regularly to check in for more drink orders, food, etc. At the end of trivia, they don't come by to give tabs sometimes for 20 plus minutes after it's over.
The other frustrating thing, which has gotten slightly better recently, is menu inconsistency - there were multiple weeks where ordering the same thing got you a different meal, even the fries were different!
We'll continue to come, because we love trivia there and of course, as mentioned, everyone is friendly, but some better service would certainly result is more drink orders at the least, or more visits outside of Thursday for sure.”

The ladies at the front desk were so nice and quick, making checking in and out very easy, and answering all our annoying questions about the area. However, tried it again with low expectations and the experience actually surprised me. The service was food, our server was friendly and the food was really good. I had the chicken quesadilla salad with mexiranch dressing and it was delicious and huge! Even the white peach sangria was tasty. I would definitely go back for that salad!”

“Visiting South Bend and this place was across the street from my hotel so I decided to try it. While standing there looking at the menu and trying to two decide what to get another customer told me I should try the ribs. So I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and they were absolutely amazing! The sauce was delicious and the meat was just falling off the bone. They came with fries coleslaw and French bread as well and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend. I would like to go back and try some other menu items.”

She even tried to stop them from singing happy birthday to my daughter ?? but momma prevailed lol.... she was sweet and kind we need more people like her great job young lady. We even was missing 2 things and was told 2 times from other people they was on it but when we told her she got the job done. Not a big deal they was busy and she made up for it.
