We had state testing for my homeschooler & we have been dealing with a lot as a family & to be welcomed by such kind people & our awesome server Amanda was a fantastic experience!!!! Just melted our stress away for a bit!!! One of my big girls is in behavioural health & we had been feeling so rough! We will be stopping back in in the daytime when my kids & I are back in South Bend! The turkey melt & the chicken bacon sandwich are fab!!!!! Great place to go! “Have eaten here for decades. Food is always hot & service is great. I usually go mid afternoon or early dinner & it isn’t as full. Open 24/7 too.“

“We came here on 05/14/26 for a nice dive. And that is exactly what it is. We decided not to eat as seeing the food coming out. We can’t comment on the taste but many people ordered and seemed happy. Service was good to very good. Atmosphere is definitely dive. The drinks were mediocre. I would advise not to order anything complex over a 1 liqueur drink. All in all not a bad place to just chill. Crowd seemed great.“

“was in SB for a night and found a great dive bar - McCormicks - cool place for a beer and some pinball - asked the owner where to go for a good burger and he directed me up the road to CJs Pub - said they are the best around! I gave it a shot and was not disappointed. Ordered one of their specialty burgers with Canadian bacon, mushrooms, and cheese. Wow. it was delicious! and huge! Waffle fries were also great and beer was ice cold. If I lived in SB, this would definitely be a regular stop for an awesome burger.“
