“My wife and I were out of town this week and celebrating 22nd wedding anniversary. On the spur of the moment we decided to walk a couple of blocks from our hotel to what looked to be one of the nicer establishments that South Bend had to offer. They got us right in and seated. The food was really fantastic, and the service was great as well. Our waitress Bradley was very attentive and friendly and helpful. This was probably one of the best seasoned steaks I've had in a very very long time. My wife and I enjoyed a waitress selected glass of wine with dinner. That was fantastic and tasty as well.Just a very good experience overall. ??“

“The food is absolutely delicious. We stumbled in one day looking for a good place to eat not far from home and also a place that was locally owned, not a chain. We were pleased to find that the owner is a chef who bought the pub so he could spend more time with family. He is there and does prep and cooking of many made in the kitchen items such as homemade ketchup,pickles,soups and one of the best pork tenderloin sandwiches I've ever had , bluegill fish. Well the list goes on. It kinda has that cheers ambiance. Staff is great and don't be surprised if you see the chef who is delightful. This is definitely a favorite. You should try it . It will be one of your favorites too.“

“We made reservations for a dinner on the day of our visit and were lucky to get a good table. I recommend making reservations in advance to avoid being seated in the Bistro. Also, be prepared to utilize the bookstore parking lot if registered as a guest of the Morris Inn because the lot next to the Inn requires an electronic pass. I am unsure whether parking can be arranged during reservation. Regarding our interior experience, dinner was easily a 5-star event. We were placed in the care of a kind and sophisticated waitor and generally pleased by the overall conditions of the restaurant. Procession through the University toward the Morris Inn was magnificent. We shall certainly return here soon. I recommend the duck with a Manhattan and Death by Chocolate for dessert.“

“We have heard nothing but good things about Cinco 5 so we decided to try it out. The service was excellent. We asked many questions and our server was gracious and helpful with her answers. The ambiance has something to be desired. There are two main dining areas. One is cozy with all booth seating. The other, where we sat, is more wide open with a few tables and no booths. IMO it's quite an odd set up. They could benefit from an interior designer. Not really a big deal to me though. The food...ah, the food! Chef's kiss to you Cinco 5! Amazing! We started with the pork dumplings. So good with the spicy dipping sauce. I had the pad thai with a heat level of 2 as suggested by our server. The portion was generous but still a tad spicy for me. Next time I'll try spicy #1. The hubs had the chicken and steak fajitas. They didn't come out sizzling like our neighboring table's did but he wasn't mad. The man is a fajita connoisseur, these take the top spot! Both meats were tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly. Two big !! What a great meal! We can't wait to return to Cinco 5. You will love it too!“
“1st time there. There was something going on, maybe a funeral party? So it was loud, and people chatting in the isles and packed. After they left, it was nice. Small Gyro was plenty big. I had Italian beef. The bottom of the bun was very soggy. Next time, I'm getting a gyro like my friend. The price was very reasonable. It probably would have been double at a sit-down restaurant.“

“It's more of a truckers restaurant, than a family oriented restaurant. Not to say you couldn't take your family there. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly. It's a one bathroom only facility. I go there when I am working in the area, I live to far away to go on my own time. Food is good, portions are ok. Nice change of pace, instead of fast food drive through enviroment. Feels good to sit down and have a cup of coffee out of a coffee cup. The atmosphere is good, a lot of repeat customers. I have eaten there many times and will continue to do so.“
“We don't have Culver's in the mid-Atlantic region so anytime I return to the Midwest I have to get it! My favorite is the pork loin sandwich with mustard and extra pickles, with the fried cheese curds on the side and Culver's root beer! Their butter burgers are also excellent! “Stopped in for lunch with. Local customer. Didn't know what to expect. Simeri's is a local dive bar with exceptional food. Started with tomato beef soup. Wish I had gotten a full bowl, it was delicious. Followed that up w/ a chef salad that was filling and full of fresh veggies. My colleagues had the ham and scalloped potato's, breaded pork tenderloin sandwich (looked amazing) and the blue cheese chicken pecan salad. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. “We saw a picture of a great burger and decided this place was a must. When driving up the to restaurant it sits in a strip mall. The exterior gave off "maybe not" vibes. Walking in it has a divey comfortable feel. And it did deliver. We started with some wings and stuffed potato skins. Also a couple of beers. That day domestic on tap beers were $5. The potato skins were huge! The wings were solid. After the potato skins and wings it's was too much. We never ordered entrees. So you know what that means, we have to return. And what a return.. it was trivia night. But you better make a reservation for that. Good food, great appetizers and nice beer selection. The staff was the best! We enjoyed this place.“

I never received water upon waiting over 1/2 hr for food. However, the food never disappoints. “First roadtrip of 2024 - destination: Bellaire, MI. Because of winter advisory, we decided to stop in South Bend, IN, overnight. Dining tonight at Bitro933 - a restaurant in Hilton Hotel. We highly recommend this place that is privately owned by a husband an wife team who have total control over their menu. Chadd is an excellent asset to this creative team - he is personable and makes you feel like you've been friends forever. They have really good food! The onion soup - phenomenal, the pepito steak sandwich - tender and flavorful (and big enough to share), and his dessert drink was a wonderful ending to a great meal as was the brown butter cake. This was such a fun adventure!“
