“We had 5 people in our party and everyone order something different and there were no complaints just compliments and lip smacking. I order the ribs and they were delicious, fall off the bone tender. Sauce was just right not to sweet or spicy. Our waitress was phenomenal, she was super good and attentive, with a wonderful personality!!“

Having spent time on both the West Coast and the East Coast, I can say that the Midwest continues to surprise me with the level of warmth and class found in places like this.

I was served by a young blonde waitress whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, but her professionalism left a strong impression. She walked me through the menu in detail, explaining the options clearly while also giving me the time and space to read through everything without pressure. That balance of attentiveness and patience is something that defines great service.

For breakfast, I ordered a sunny side up steak plate with hash browns and gravy. The dish delivered exactly what a hearty American breakfast should: comforting, satisfying, and full of flavor. It was the kind of meal that genuinely sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Beyond the food itself, the dining room carries an atmosphere that feels almost like being in someone’s home. There’s a sense of ease in the space you’re not rushed, not pressured to move quickly. “I'll be honest, im on vacation from Virginia. I was born in Goshen and as a kid walking past the place the food stood out. It seems like every time I come up from out of state I visit this place and this is literally the taste of Goshen. The place seems so family oriented and despite how busy this place gets the communication is strong so literally there is really no mix up or anything. This place has been with me as a kid and I hope it will be here forever“

If the patio is part of your plans, check seasonal availability and the current schedule before arranging a gathering with friends. My experience with this place was about 4 years ago.“

“Today (8/27/20) we had an incident in the parking lot, where an irresponsible driver decided to not follow vehicular laws and nearly ran over my 5 year old, myself, and my 1.5 year old who was in my arms, and I’m 6 months pregnant. Since I was unable to catch the persons license plate and I was a bit frazzled, when I went inside and asked to see a manager everyone was really sweet and understanding, Erin, the manager, really helped make me feel like something was being done about the issue. Thank you Erin, your customer service is amazing, I appreciate it.“

“Had a mushroom and Swiss hamburger and onion rings and I have to say that was the best hamburger I’ve ever had and it’s a thick hamburger great taste I’m not even hungry and I want to go back and eat another burger I want to see what else they have that taste amazing I’d give it a 100 💯 stars“

“Most of the time. I would say yes but today is maybe. I ordered wings and fried pickles and finally found soggy azz fried pickled UNDER my wings -- why were they not boxed separately?.Not quite crunchy and crisp. I did try to call the restaurant three times in 30 mins and no answer to let them know they weren't included. Now know to look UNDER my wings for my sides now 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤨“

“Rudest bartender I've ever met. Dana called last call at 9:45pm on Friday. At 10:20 she walked through the bar and said you have 5 minutes to finish your drinks. She came back at 10:25 and tried to take everyone's glasses. Half our table wasn't finished yet and she became complacent when we would not give her our glasses. She told us we were no longer welcome at this BDubs location. Our server then came back to our table and said they don't close till 11:00 so if you would like to stay and finish your cocktails I would gladly wash your cups.“

“I love this place. It's very near to Ox Bow Park, so you can go here before or after you've been to the park. The prices are great, especially in the economy. The servers have always been kind. They sometimes have great deals on buying gift cards, where you get 10 dollars free if u buy 50.“

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.“
